Hi Ruben..
Unfortunatly we dont use the bevel feature on our cutters. we only do the strait cutting. I will look again at the software and see where the settings for bevel are. I have an idea but...

Yea I guess I jumped the gun on my posting ... Dont know what you actually have for rails,... maybe a pic would help? I presum they are 20mm round bar with mounting holes?
Could you not place these in a lathe, drill the end of one and turn down the other as a dowel pin and marry them that way?? If it didnt line up the lathe needs some work .....
Anyone used square stock for x rails and used rollers on 3 sides? I'm just considering the same design esab uses for their large gantry machines. Seems simple enough and dont need any special...

This is kindof what I had in mind for the table setup..... as far as the gantry and x drive... I like the idea of roller chain as far as ease and affordability. I'm thinking there would be minimal...

THanks for the mechmate link contractirfu, lots of good plan ideas there. I have a general plan in my mind and will most likely build as I go. I do like the horizontal y rails in the mechmate plans.
Great looking build... my plans in the future for a 4x4 table build will be all steel construction like yours. I work in a metalfabrication shop running plasma cutter so most all parts will be cut...
