Thanks for the replies...It is an ez board and I got a hold of Dave the owner at hobby cnc and he said the way I have it drawn is right. Thanks!

Hello, I am building a router table and someone gave me some motors that I want to be sure are wired right. Here is a picture of the chart the manufacturer has on their web site. They are 8 wire...
Thanks Ian....I am working on a video now on making a lost foam casting...should be done soon. I am going to look at your blog too as i am building a router table now.
Dave D
Hmm...it seems like it might be worth it then...The driver has a max of 36 vdc so I don't think it should spike that.
Thanks,
Dave
So it would make sense to do it? If I am worried about the wire gauge I mean?
Dave
But would that help with the load? It seems to me that all the current would still be going through one path so it wouldn't make any difference...unless the higher voltage would lower the amps?
...
Is it possible to use two of the secondary windings in the same circuit? Like if I added the grey-grey, would it add 4.4 volts to the total...and help share the load?
As you can see, i don't know...
Well my max voltage for my driver is 32 I believe so I am using the 24v leads. I am using a hobby cnc driver and the motors I am looking at are two amp...so I would be operating 3 motors max 6 amps...
It was very late when I posted the transformer voltages:) I went back and edited them to be right! Here are the values before and after the rectifier and capacitors:
Grey-grey 3.7 ...
Sorry about that...the 25.1 I had listed there was the final voltage...so I edited the post. Yes all the secondary wires are the same gauge. The black one formed a circuit with the orange...
well, it said 24 vdc on it...so I thought one more volt wouldn't hurt it! I am not sure where it came from...
OK, I think I got my power supply up and running. This transformer actually had 5 secondary coils. the voltages were:
3.7
9.3
12.0
18.9
35.4
I went with the 18.9 and after running it...
Thanks for that. Is there a way to measure what the amps are on this transformer?
Dave
Hello all, I am starting a project...putting motors onto my manual router table. I am going to use a hobby cnc driver and someone gave me a transformer to use but I can't find any information on it...
Sorry if this is not the right place to post this...I have three motors like this:

I thought I could use them...

Hello, I have been working on building an oil burner for my small furnace. What i came up with can be made using common plumbing parts and a drill. It does need a little soldering though too. ...
I didn't read this whole thread so plwase excuse me if this has been posted before...I use greensand and also K-bond sand. What gives you detail in your castings is the size of your sand.
...
Yes, it is about a quarter inch thick. You are right about being able to make a rammable pattern too...just have to make sure to have draft on it.
