Jermie,
Could you design a cogeneration system for me?
Mariss,
During my misspent youth at a national lab I directed part of a model set that was supposed to be used to develop the legislation in the 1990 Clean Air Act Amendments regarding acid...

sprinter,
Interesting project!
Do you have a materials list, diagrams, etc. that you could share?
Thanks.
cheetahcnc,
Just put the paperwork for the carbon credit limit behind me!
During my misspent youth I worked at two national labs as an environmental scientist. My avatar shows what I now do to stop global warming. Stand behind me if you believe in government environment...
Since CH4 has 8-100 times the global warming effect of CO2 just light your farts an all will be well!
Starleper1,
What exactly are these pictures of?
Julio Silva,
Here is a pdf from KDN Tool which may be helpful: http://www.kdntool.com/userfiles/mf70_pkg.pdf .
They are in the USA so parts from them may be expensive for you.
There is another thread "Taig Z Axis Extension and Bracing" here: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/taig_mills_lathes/112280-taig_z_axis_extension_bracing.html .
So the Deepgroove1 9 pin cables don't have any problems?
Thanks.
How can I determine if the Deepgroove1 9 pin cables don't have wires from pins 1 and 5 going to the cable without taking the cables apart? Thanks.
What temperatures should I see under normal operation? At what temperatures is additional cooling necessary?
Thanks.
Mariss,
The Deepgroove1 Gecko control box I got with my Taig mill came with 9 pin cables. The package was marked "P/N:5313118045F0 Made in China". Will these cables cause problems? If so what sort...
fragger6662000,
Hoss and I discussed the cheapest and best Geckodrive G540 package here http://www.cnczone.com/forums/benchtop_machines/111863-hosss_g0704-21.html :

Are the vent hole in the Deepgroove G540 box enough to provide cooling if you don't have wiring issues? What is the cooling effect of the black anodizing on the G540 case? I have some old cpu...
I am a bit confused as here G540 4-Axis Motor Control it states: "No heatsink needed below 40C ambient".
I have a Deepgroove G540 and it has a 2" fan assembly on the inner box. Is this enough cooling?
jason,
I already have a Taig and a Gecko540 so I am not interested in yours. But I would like to know if there are any instructions on running them with EMC2?
Thanks.
I sold mine through Craigslist but it took a while.

rcazwillis,
Stores like Staples, Newegg etc. may carry the adapter you need.
Dan Falck,
What CPU, memory, OS, etc. would a computer need to do this?
Thanks.
magudaman,
I would be hesitant to pay $2100 for a Micro-proto DSLS 3000 mill when you can get a new 4 axis Taig for the same price here: Cnc mill. Is there a lot of additional equipment provided?...
Chris123 wrote "I've bought a 550kw motor".
That is approximately 738 horsepower. Isn't it 550 Watts?
Aside from this problem, I would be interested in seeing more details and pictures.
Here is a link to "Taig z-Column Stiffening" : Engineering Hobbyist .
I get this on the link but I don't understand what it is or how to use it:
