Re: I+j arc jerk issue driving me nuts

Not saying anything bad toward Jon.N.CNC... every so often you run across someone that is totally clueless, using an oddball cnc program, home grown stepper or a Chinese controller that has a ton of...

Check to make sure "exact stop" isn't checked. If exact stop isn't checked then try changing CV stop angle to 180 and see if you have the same problem.

    Re: odd uc400 probe problem

If I understand what you are saying, the problem only occurs when the probe clip is attached to the cutter bit but works ok if you touch the clip to the zero plate. Typically these types of problems...

Was running Mach 3 ver0.062, Smoothstepper and Gecko 540. Got tired of constant Mach 3 issues, unfixable bugs, lousy CV control and unpredictability. Mach 4 is no better and $200 for a half...

Re: Waiting for VistaCNC plugin for UCCNC

I assume VisaCNC realized from a business standpoint putting all your eggs in ArtSoft's basket is not a good idea. Mach 4 is far from a finished product with no light at the end of the tunnel and...

25 is the default safe Z retract. Question is what is 25...metric or imperial? 25 = slightly less that one inch.
  13. Re: How to attach a macro or gcode to a new screen button ??

Buttonnumber 20000 to 20999 are calling macros directly, I mean this range of button codes are used to call the same macro number directly,

  14. Re: UCcnc NEW FEATURES ???? THINGS needed, Suggestions ???

I used the UCCNC screen designer and deleted "Zero All" button after accidentally clicking it more than once. Its a good idea but the button is too close to the individual axis zero buttons.

Try setting the uccnc software kernel speed to 25 khz and see if that helps. In most cases 25 khz is more than enough. I believe the default is 100 khz. Open the task manager while running and watch...
