Make sure your guides are in good shape (roller type preferred) and avoid placing any lateral pressure on the blade. When this happens one side of the blade will wear...

Yes. This method works great and very inexpensive.

GM apparently, has some custom GD and T symbols.
The U-in circle from what we know at the moment is a tolerance direction.
So much for universal usage.
We have to call the fixture shop now...
