I was going through the posts and saw that you added limit switches to your controller, just wondering if you could answer a couple of questions as to how you wired them, first are they configured...

I guess I finally realize the question. No I have not installed switches on this machine yet.

I also get a message that "Safe z is turned off ignoring Safe z move" when I try to go to zero.

Nothing, I thought that only worked with limit switches installed and the go to zero causes it to go all the way back and over shoot the z on the down stroke so I have to physically invoke a estop
