Nice build thread!
I strongly encourage you to use flood coolant, mine is in my dad's shop and sits there unused for a couple weeks (sometimes more) too.
Put a small motor with a helix or a small...
This thread is like the walking dead, sometimes i flash post an update.
After some extremely busy couple of years i'm proud to announce that the beast es alive and it rocks! Once i finish it i'll...
By now, the most efficient way is the mill way.
Waterjet tends to de-laminate the fibers, definitively not an option.
To laser it would need rather an interesting wattage (+200w?), that would...
I'd definitively go for it, a nice XY assembly ready to bolt on a table. I guess i'd rip the electronics off and just retrofit the thing.
You can directly make a solid with your workpiece geometry. Then just select it, right click on the define stock and instead of box stock, just click stock from selection (if i recall ok) or...
Nice printer! Just a small suggestion, replace the spring type couplers for rigid ones, a friend did that with it's own and the layer height accuracy improves a bit.
Glad to hear that, maybe you'll need to tune spindle ramp up/down parameters in the drive.
The spindle orientation error is rather weird, i'm almost sure it has "nothing" to do with changing the...
Welcome!
If i understood you correctly, you are not setting the coordinate origin in the machine. To keep it simple, there are "two" main coordinate systems;
- The first one is the machine...
That was a bit harsh, chill man.
That's a nice mess, congratulations on the new machine! Lookig forward to see a demo :P
Those two cables should do the job, plug your laptop to the dock, boot it, enter the bios and check if serial port is enabled there. Parallell and serial ports on laptops usually get shut down to...
IF it's the serial com type, it's like a mess to set up.
I bought a used one few time ago and every time i rebooted the computer, windows was not recognising the screen, reinstalled and erased like...
Made the base support out of 50mm square steel tubing. Designed to hold all the electronics inside and some storage space.
Finally ordered the spindle, 0'75Kw Teknomotor, an old Lenze inverter...
Long time without updating, base casting on progress, updating soon!
HI i guess...
Check this out, haven't read the whole thing but the guy talks about crazy load meters and heat issues with the same drive as yours.
it's on wwwpractical ...
That sounds really odd, don't quote me on that but load meter should be way below 50% at those speeds... Theoretically the load meter is just an amp meter, so... either your spindle is drawing a 100%...
There you go, seems that 781 and 785 must be connected together, however, i found no jumper wire in those spots, either my machine has no jumper between 781 and 785 or the jumper is not located in...
I recall no "big" green wires besides the ones in the terminal block down the drive (ground, phase 1 2 and 3). Crappy picture, i noted all the small wires located in the side of the drive.
...
Hey, didn't see your post, i've just listed the wires as the haas tech did. I'm kind of a mess and forgot the paper in the shop...
Hey, let me check tomorrow on the machine, and i'll tell.
I have a '97 VF-0E however mine's got a mitsubishi VFD but maybe we can identify cable number and label in VFD and hope to get a clue.
¿?
Nice chips, the rough op was hilarious, i really like the way chips fly out your machine. I've only used HSMXpress, and i really think it's an awesome cam environment, and fully integrated into SW.
...
I had some interesting thoughts today about the same issue, subscribed to see possible solutions!
Good job, that is some big time welding :) I really like the router, but that base looks super thin compared to the machine!
linear encoders mach3 - Google Search
Well, everything solved, it appeared this morning in the front porche... It has been opened but nothing was damaged or missing, looks like the person that picked it saw there was no valuable thing...
i noticed that, i'm just saying if in the future are you going to add a foot switch or leave it as is?
I've seen folks in here using the foot switch thing and it seems to come really handy to have...
Nice and smooth :) Are you going to use a foot switch or something?
