Thank you very much . . . Steve
By the way, your PM Inbox is FULL . . .
Thanks again .. . .
Hello, I live in Louisiana . . . Just got a small plasma table & I am wanting to do small arts & crafts type stuff and some parts.
I understand you actually own a Mr. Deburr.
If there is any...
Look at MAINGEAR computers . . . Look at an XCUBE . . . Talk to IVAN . . . have him build you a machine with a SSD Hard Drive like they built mine.
I shipped my CPU to Dynatorch and let Paul...
You will do fine . . .
Mine has been in my shop for two weeks, still sitting on rolling stands.
Have the gantry mounted.
A lot of chicken and egg scenarios got me.
You can not count on...
Still not set up yet . . . waiting on 2X4 threaded inserts for legs to add leveling feet. Shop floor is not perfect.
I do know I am now definitely happy I went with a 4X4 table . . .
This table...
Darebee . . . I sent you a PM . . .
Steve
My new DYNATORCH 4 X 4 XLS is here ! ! !.
Now the fun begins . . .
Steve:wave:
Thanks for posting . . . what do you think caused your holes in your 1/2" to be a little out of round, or is that just the way it looks in the picture. Would speed cause that? The bronze cuts looks...
This is a snippet from MultiCAM's page . . .
They use this hemisphere device to hold sheet metal on a plasma table because the speed required to cut this thin of metal combined with warping...
A spring loaded hemisphere like MultiCAM uses on it dedicated HVAC Plasma Systems.
You could turn it on a wood lathe out of Teflon.
It would hold your sheet metal down right at the bit. You would...
Chemosavi; I sent you a PM . . . Let me know if that will work . . .
Thanks, Steve
Good to hear for us prospective Dynatorch Owners . . . .
Doesn't SIGMANEST Lite come with your all your tables now?
I know it doesn't nest, but I believe it does everything that is needed to...
I heard you guys were cutting metal . . .
Got pictures?
Which machines were there . . . XLR8? XLS? SuperB?
Take care,
Steve
Sounds great . . .
By the way, I am really slow . . . I just caught it . . . .
su·perb = SuperB
"a superb performance"
synonyms: excellent, superlative, first-rate, first-class,...
As you guys know, I have been looking very hard at Dynatorch for some time now.
I have to do something right after the first of the year, so this was right up my alley.
It looks like Dynatorch...
Could you make an engraving run then a cut run?
Steve
Hello;
Leon, currently or in the near future do see high wattage motors like the Panasonic on the XLS as perhaps an option if that is possible?
Steve in Louisiana
Whew ! ! !
Thank you Leon for posting that. . . My schizophrenic worry-wart self was starting to worry . . .:wee:
I knew you guys would figure it out . . . . By the way, I am running AutoCAD...
How would you use the plasma torch to mark?
Just real low power?
If so, is that fairly accurate, maybe enough for bend lines?
Steve
Yes, you are correct . . . . ONLY the XLR8 has the board, components, shielding, etc. . . that make it suitable for a High Definition Plasma Cutter
The High-Def capable is due to the control system. The compo nets in the XLR8 are of a type that are not affected by the noise created by the High-Def plasma systems. I believe DynaTorch is paying an...
I agree. It seems a more economical way to mark would be to run a (side attached to torch) spring loaded marker on the whole uncut sheet first. This would mark your parts for the customer. Then run...
The XLS is available with a water table or downdraft.
You are correct, basically the only difference between the XLS and the XLR8 is the latter of the two has the ability to handle HIGH DEFINITION...
Please keep us posted on the XLS . . . I'm looking at the same machine in a 4X4 configuration . . .
After looking at your site, I'm not sure which is more impressive . . . . your work, your...
Well good luck & I'll be looking for you on "that other" site I am probably not supposed to mention. . . . .
Take care,
Steve
P.S. When you get it resolved, please let me know . . . . I am...
You my friend are a talented wordsmith . . . . well duh ! I have seen so many attacks on manufacturers in these forums when it was operator stupidity . . . besides, I sure didn't want to hear...
Well Kyp, I owe you an apology. I want to see your table up and running as much as you do, maybe more. But I do see your point. "YOUR SUPER-B" is not performing as it should or as well as the one in...
You know buddy, my only negative comment is why come on here with a "LEMON" comment as your very first post on the forum.
If you had read everything, which you obviouslyly did not, I suggested he...
Thanks for jumping Jim.
First of New Year I will be purchasing a Dynatorch (pretty sure) & definitely a PowerMAX85.
Your input is valued.
Steve
Usually when the title to your post is "My SuperB IS A LEMON", most people would take it that way. Sorry maybe is English is used differently down under.
So you will know, travel speed is...
