David, why don't you see if you can get the moderator for this forum to sticky a post in this board with a link to your plugins page.
I always go to the cambamcnc.com forum site to get the link...
He's been here before. I'd like to see a link to his plugin library pinned to the top here like it is in the CB forum.
I meant because David is an admin on the CB forum and he checks in several...
I spent all afternoon setting up the operations to cut a multi cavity casting mold. I started around 11:00 and except for a couple short sanity breaks worked through until about 5:30. Call it six...
Yeah I saw that. I'm sure David has already told Andy, but I'll drop him a message in a bit.

Seems like the CB forum is down again.

I've been using it for years and I agree.
If Andy did a comprehensive bug fix release it would be even better.

Hopefully, this does the trick

When performing a forum search:
It appears the data base may still have some issues. There may be a rebuild/reindex function built in the admin functions that will fix this. Sorry I can not...
Yeah, it looks like it recognizes a login cookie, but the database needs a rebuild. There are some functions in the admin menu if they can get to it that might help.
And the forum is back up again.
I don't usually have much to post about here other than to say, " My Tormach still works just fine, and its still not potty trained."
Oh, Okay. All my CNC machines have automatic oilers. I do have a manual oiler on my knee mill and my surface grinder, but they came that way.
That is one variant.
I am (was) running an ebay oiler on my Tormach KMB1 mill. I tested the original oiler (which still works) to determine exactly how much oil it dispensed each time it was activated. Then I...
Originally I used my 5/8 shank carbide round over tool in a shop made tool holder. Lster somebody let me know there was a TTS ER32 that would hold it. I already had a lot of ER32 collets for other...
I sent them a couple pictures. They said it was out of warranty, but it never should have failed like that. They sent me a replacement for free. It arrived yesterday.
This slitting saw arbor cap broke. I was a little surprised. I put it in a drawer with a saw on it since I was going to use it again in a minute. The saw bound slightly closing the drawer, but I...
I retrofit it, and I rebuilt it, and I repaired it many times. It still functions, but its in desperate need of repairs again. Both the X & Y have excessive backlash. The Y is just old and worn out,...
I specialize in 1 off custom work and often program and run upto 4 CNC mills simultaneously doing different jobs with a 5th prepping blanks. I've been doing it for a day or two. At the moment I...
Ok in follow up I sent a second email to AB Tools and said,
They responded,
I note conspicuously absent is any response to being used in an R8 collet or using the Tormach specific version...
From AB (two different people):
"The 1” single flute Shear-hog can drill in Z using a solid holder, not a collet, and a peck drilling cycle. Typically around 30IPM and .100”-.200” pecks depending...
Fun fact though. I often use TTS tooling in a 3/4 collet on the South Bend if that where the tool I need happens to be.
