The tool I am using is enabled and I have the Z length 0.0 So when the paper is between the tool and the stock the DRO says 10.5" and when I push the softkey WCS in Z length the machine puts 11.5" in...

I first use the presetter to offset the tools and then put in the part and press the WCS softkey. Use jog to pinch a piece of paper and then press the WCS in Z softkey. It comes up one inch too long...

I have a 1994 HIT-15s and when I try to set the G54 with the WCS in Z it gives me a number that is exactly 1" off. Does anyone have any ideas on what i am doing wrong.
