anyone have the parameters for a mori seiki sl 3a with fanuc 6t just had to replace the main board and now the parameters need tweeking, first the zero return was not correct, tech kinda fixed that...

i'm trying to send a program from the machine to a laptop.

well i was able to upload a program off a laptop to the machine but i can't figure out how to start a new program right on the machine?? tried inputing in mdi an O1234 but that didn't work. have the...

well what i've come up with so far is this

G50 X-5.234 Z15.345 T0400 (changes to tool 4 and sets absolute position)
T0404 (<-- not sure if this is necessary?? maybe...

any idea what parameters need to be changed?

on a different cnc lathe i have to upon start up send the machine to home then "search" for turret 1, so i was wondering if there was something like that needs to be done on a mazak qt 18

well it ended up being a kink in the optic cable for the spindle...

after spending a few hours with a technician we've narrowed the problem down to the M1 cable coming out of the I/O board, which has 50 pins, so its only a matter of tracking down which of the 50 is...

i messed up and drew the part on the wrong plane! its on the z y (right side) view and i need to change it to the top x y plane

well we found the fx 14 fuse and it was blown... replaced it... powered up and it blew again...

on a vmc 40 with a cnc88 with i go to display the tool offset values it only display from tool number 5 and cannot page up to the first 4.... very odd anyone encountered this before or has a remedy??
