I was referring to the fact that the TB6560 accepts 12-36 volts
for the motors power input.

Ohm's law will tell you what the motors are rated at.
Amps is the important thing.
The driver is what limits the voltage you use.

Go into Configuration / Ports and pins /Spindle setup
Make sure that you don't have the relays disabled.

Why are you using 3 arcs, instead of a circle.?
Make the following changes.
Line N70 - Add G00, to this line.
Line N80 - Add G00, to this line.
Line N100 - Delete this line.
Line N110 -...

Agee with you on this point
.
Nothing strange about it at all.
NO ! You not getting it.
Why are you doing this?
Mike
Just buy a lathe and save yourself some money.

You might find this useful.
Install a pull down resistor from the base of the 2n2222 to ground
This keeps the 2n2222 from turning on when no high signal is coming from the hall sensor.
The 2n2222 is very sensitive .
Also...
You have the emitter and collector connections are reversed.
You appear to have a floating ttl signal also.
Why are you using 12v to power this?
Post schematic with all the devices' part...

Looks like your going in the right direction.
Be sure to post results when you actually have it working.

You need to establish what the exact speed that the spindle motor rotates, at 100 percent PWM!
This number is needed to setup any and all additional pulley ratios !

The G540 doesn't have a 0-10V PWM output

First determine the actual full speed of the spindle.
This is a generic approach as I'm not familiar with your hardware or software
Verify that you have 10.0 Volts AT 100 percent...
Do you already have the drivers?
If so what is the signal it requires.
Mach does outputs a pwm signal This shouldn't be a problem
A PWM signal is a TTL level logic signal Which is the same if...
Already caught that.
Haven't figured out the resistors values yet.
I will work on a explanation of how this works.
Also will test on a BB.

Here's the progress so far.
This is still a work in progress.

If you could use a different output pin other than the one designated for the 0-10v analogue log signal.
You should get 5 volt PWM signal out of the BOB
Look at the schematic that ger21 suggested...
Here's what's happening
Mach creates a TTL level PWM digital signal And sends it to the printer port.
The printer port sends to the BOB.
The BOB takes this signal and creates a 0-10 V PWM...
I guess I got a little confused here .
Let me rephrase that.

Cam Bam would be worth taking a look at.
Not sure how much it is. You can use it for free for 40 fully functional sessions .
Cam Bam has post processers for Mach.
However some tweaking...
That depends on exactly what you are trying to do.
