Yeah I doubt steel will be easy but I don't really think I will ever be milling steel. Aluminium is probably my limit.

If I want to mill steel I will get a CNC mill instead.

Realistically I need a 1000x1500 work surface but the extrusion I've found is only 1500mm or 3000mm to allow for that work area.
