Not happy at all with centroid.
Before buying I ask some technical detail and after few emails, no more replays.
Another important detail, very careful with your software needs !!!

Hi.
I have a small router, home made, with 3 axis + 4th rotary to work small pieces silver/brass.
I was between: Cs-Lab - good hardware but buggy mach3 or SimCNC beta :nono: , Centroid Oak - good...
Screw lead (pitch) 2mm/turn and 4th axis connected via 10:1 reductor, this can help a little.
My motor it is CSMT-01BB1ANT3
Encoder : 2048 P/R

Good news,

So, I not need real closed loop motion controller (+$$), just a good one with STEP/DIR and index homming?
Lot of info here.
Thank you!
I ask because I have samsung CSDJ drivers, I don't know if it is dumb or intelligent, and I am lucking for the motion controller.

Hi,
It is any difference between using closed loop servo and STEP/DIR motion controller vs real close loop motion controller using encoder data from closed loop servo.
Thank you,
Coly
It is not about how to connect.
Yes, it is allmost true (mach3 it is buggy and Cs-Lab is prepairing his own SimCNC software ), but is work if I don't know how to connect?
Can by true this but no schematics, no wiring example.
This can be a big problem.
Mach3 it is buggy, maybe, but I can find the solution in his forum, without ask and wait.
Good point.
Thank you
