Does this look like a good 80w RICI firing? Power is so bad I can't engrave a stainless mug.
Or its these bad mirrors....
Been a long time since I needed any power. Only done a few rubber stamps. Laser dont get used much.
I tried to engrave a stainless tumbler yesterday and I noticed the power is way down. Tube seems...
Just a update, my Rabbit is doing fine.
Rabbit Lasers all the way. Yes, he gives support even to people who didn't buy from him. And YES, he is in Ohio in the United States of America.
I would like to try the excavator myself.
I looked at their 24x36 and their costs came out way higher than what I paid for my Rabbit Laser, and it comes from Ohio.
Not all water across the country is the same.
I sure hate to think that those pics was using water from someones tap. Definitely not something I would be drinking.
Good luck with the new machine. Did you check out Rabbit Lasers right here in Ohio?
Looking forward to a new Lasercut update. Thanks for the news.
fragar posted pics of his holder back in post number 3302, but he never posted the file.
Should be able to find the dinos here. Dinosaur skeleton, and other models, DXF files. - Attachments
Yea, its a waste of time to click on the subforums. Just stays at the root forum.
Just a 3D model?
I tried three of them and they seem fine.
Amazing how much more interest there is in this discussion over on the other forum.
Well I found a 20lb. Buckeye at All City Fire Equipment for $221 and $45 shipping.
That thing is 45lbs. in weight!
I just received my new laser and I am looking at CO2 extinguishers. What do you recommend as far as size? 5 10 15 lbs?
A 10lb. is over $200.
Oh good, thanks.
I am a Photoshop, Illustrator user.
I ordered a Rabbit 80-9060 and now Im thinking I have to have Coreldraw or autocad to use Lasercut on my laptop before I can do anything?
Does Lasercut install as a plugin in either one of these...
I wired the money for a 80 watt yesterday. So sometime in a couple of weeks I will give details on how it goes. I'm thinking of setting up a Gopro camera to take some time lapse photos.
I am going to wire him money in a couple hours for one of his 80 watt lasers. I like the fact that he is the "only" importer who keeps them in stock in the US. So that tells you something about his...
Is it possible to use a thumb drive to d/l files to a 6515 in a Rabbit? I hate the thoughts of buying another computer just to keep the usb cable short.
Thanks.
I am beginning to worry about this venture and just spend my 10 grand on a Tajima embroidery machine. Seems Rabbit is either avoiding me, not getting my emails, or just overwhelmed by sales.
The RL-80-9060 is what I am looking at. I know it says that for the 1290.
I'm confused. I emailed Ray at Rabbit and I guess it was his wife said the 80 watt is 110v. Surely not?
Jorge,
Dont jump before listening to more suggestions. Read as much as you can. Search google. Do you want to go thru importing, or buy from dealers on your soil.
You in the US?
Dont rush,...
Al, I am waiting on Ray to email me back, but he has been so busy he hasn't been getting back to my questions. I just wanted to see what prep I need prior to ordering.
No conduit. Just thru...
No problem. I guess I was comparing the laser to a oven which has 40 or 50 amp beakers and using 8 or 6 gauge wire. I thought surely a laser doesn't draw that much.
