I spoke with IRF tecnical support and they recommend no optocoupler for the current feedback.
About the unused pins they recommend to only leave unconnected the pins that have internal pull up/down.
this page has a good review of free bootloaders and explanations:

Also it seems like many IDE also provide bootloader code.

eeprom at24:
Pin WP should probably get a switch or a jumper
To ground= normal read/write operations
To Vcc= write protect the full 1k memory.
It is probably a neat option to load the parameters...
I think the three pins A1 A2 A3 should go to ground. That's the hardwire identifier for position zero, which I guess should be the default position when using only one eeprom IC. I have looked at the...
I just got a CNC engraver and I was thinking to mill the PCBs. I have never done it, but I have seen examples on the net. I need to install some software and try milling a couple of them. I am not...
Hi Andy,
Great work with those schematics!!
The eeprom if I understand correctly it is used to store the parameters in order to autoinitialize the drive. For a first test we could just load the...

Does anyone know how to get an Eagle library that contains IRMCK201 and other IRF parts? to start designing a board?
thanks
TR 2000,
I don't find the design guide that you mentioned: dg-irmck201.pdf
could you post a link or email it to me?
If there's someone who has the knowledge to try this IC, send me a private email...
Xerxes,
I emailed you or sent you a private message sometime ago and never heard from you.
Let me know if you didn't get the message.
Hi , has anybody tried to fabricate their own ballscrew on a lathe?
It seem from what I have read and asked in the forums that nowadays tooling has replace most of the grinding work, meaning that...
I think you can set the register values directly through RS-232 with hyperterminal or similar software. You just send a command with a value through your com port to the chip to set the registers.
I...
Would the IRF IRAMS10UP60A provide more than 400-500watt if driving servos at 300 volts instead of 100v?
thanks
Hi Apples,
would you mind sharing whats the price you found for track?
Are you using 16 bearings for one axis? or just 8?
thanks
I would be interested to buy some
I would be interested in ordering with some other people to get good rates.
