I like your work...well done!!
Sounds very interesting...good work :)
Wondering how your project is progressing? :)
It can have slaves on x, y and z
For sure it will be missed. The 6040 is coming back, i need a machine for electronic/pcb prototyping.
Well...the machine is sold now. Not sure when i will start on a new one :)
Not good...hopefully you will get them soon. I am using my old LPT port pc and Mach3 for testing. The bus transceiver i used for level shifting seem to work well, still deciding whether to add high...
How is your project going?
With mine i have done the communication between the drives and micro, now busy experimenting with isolation. Using my old pc with parallel port....making sure i get the...
I bought my Item24 from Modular Components....excellent quality and service
Glad you got it sorted :)
I would expect emi issues due to some wiring issues there...
I would agree that between Delta and Yaskawa, the latter would most likely be better :)
Hi, i am using AXBB-E, UCCNC and Leadshine drives......zero issues.
Good luck on your project, it sounds very interesting !!
...for my design i an using a pic micro :)
I am using the uc400eth for the motor signals...the micro is for additional programmable i/o and stepper drive configuration and monitoring :)
I found most bob's i used had limitations, also wiring to them was a pain so i decided to make my own and add logic with the micro. Due to work and other commitments it's a slow process. The 5 motor...
I am currently working on a bob design with micro controller for added logic etc :)
.....also a 5 motor stepper driver board 50V/DC 0.5-6A
Okay...i can give him a Sako mini drive that i used on my machine. Very good drive, only reason i have it is because i replaced the whole panel on my machine. Not going to go into the reason why...
If you give me more details on his setup then i can let you know if the drive i have spare will work for him...
I did not expect there to be a battery :)
Thanks...reason i asked is cause i might have a drive to give him :)
Exactly why i have been delaying in building and selling equipment...
What size is his motor?
Usually there is a factory default parameter....but if you can't use the keypad to do it then most likely a hardware fault/damage
Too far, else you/he could have popped by so we can have a look :)
Where are you located?
I agree with what mac said...a filter is important, it will not filter out everything but it is something you will need anyway. There are lots of other things that could be causing your issues. A pic...
This is how i did it initially, reason why i made this board is to make it neater and save time wiring...
Hi Ian, this is only a prototype. I need to change a couple of things before i sell them. The idea is to make them very easy to install. These ones will be tricky to install, reason being the sockets...
Yes :)
