I never had a Fadal but it sounds like a solenoid issue to me. Again, bad coil, loose, not shifting like it should.
When replacing spindles has anyone ever replaced a 7.5k spindle with a 10k. Is it possible or is there more hardware other than the spindle cartridge?
Anyone running a Fadal on a phase Perfect? Looking to run a 4020ht on a PT-10 or what use to be a PT-330.
Any Issuers.
How is it running?
Did you ever figure this out?
Please keep us updated. That way we all learn along with you.
Have you measured power at the that top plug? (Usually 220vac). If you have power there then it may be in the power supply. Try removing all the jumpers between it and the spindle drive to make...
I may have missed something but here is what I know.
If the drive package does not light up the main buss power contactor will never turn on. On your picture, top right you should see two red...
Great call CNGBRICK.
NIce. Glad to see it.
The last place I know to go to for a system control is partsandsmartsinc If Al is still taking calls he should have a couple of Ideas. I can't blame Dynapath on the lack of system support as it...
Just a simple note the the CR is carriage return and LF is line feed. These should not be characters that show on the screen but general formating. I think that is your problem. Not familiar with...
There is no load display for the axis on a dynapath. You can as mentioned look at the following error ie Lag display by going to your setup mode on cnc then selecting TM4 - Servo adj. Normal...
When I first started I did wire up a couple Dynapath system 20 but other than that I really had not contact with them. Now Deltas I can help you with. Give Dynapath a call, They may have some...
I am sorry your having an issue with the Fanuc. I have a couple of comments. First, Doosan picks the CNC they offer on the machine including all the options and storage. The person who purchased...
Cold Start
Back up all your part programs, Macros, Tool tables, and offsets. (will be erased)
Turn off CNC power. Pull the AUX card from the backplane for about 20 min.
One of the few...
You could update it to a 4th axis The dynapath puts out a +- 10vdc command. And takes a 5vdc squarewave feedback. Dynapath is still around. And services controls. Another place is parts and smarts...
Thanks for the update. The Delta 20 is a really good CNC. More reliable than there later models.
Did you get them running. How is it going?
Ok. I was going to start with the Override pot. (you should also check the switch on the back of the override pot. It can also go bad no mater where the dial is.)
Next. The display highlight...
Well from what you said a couple things come to mind. 1. loss of feed back for some reason. does the CNC see it drifting off position? If it does then I would say that something is causing some...
You can not just add a board to the CNC. The Delta 10/20 were true CNC with all custom hardware. The 30?40/50/60 and Delta 2000 have a basis on PC hardware and can run VGA monitors without a real...
I spent last night reading this thread end to end. I hope you get the CNC worked out soon Would love to see the mill making chips.
Not to be too obvious but did you check your tool table to see that you have a T1 in it. Not sure what type of machine you have this on but the Q table is used to hold tool numbers.
I am guessing you have already found a solution.
I have three.
Contact Dynapath for a replacement, or
Contact Parts and Smarts for a replacement, or
Go to ebay and buy a used one.
Nice write up. a few notes. Be careful on replacing the back plane motherboard with anything other than what Dynapath has deemed acceptable. It was a commercial/industrial unit and timing in the...
Not familiar with Tree in particular but it can be done by external switch or look on the status screen ( Fault/status key twice) there may be a soft key for block delete and optional stop. If not...
