I mistook the Y-axis motor for a power knee. My mistake although that puts the value closer to the lower end of my estimate I still think it is a nice machine.
Just out of curiosity, what type of machine are you programming this for? I see code that I don't see in most milling machine programs for instance the G28U0W0 makes it look like a 4 axis machine.
No. Most NC controls require a short "lead in" to allow the control to compensate for the cutter radius. I don't see any G41 or G42 in your code but, what in MASTERCAM is called the operations...
I'm not sure if you mean thickness in mm, inches or gauge. If you need to know what "gauge" it is the calipers mentioned in the last post should be fine in conjunction with a chart like this one.

I believe it's mostly to assure that you are cutting furthest with the leading edge and not with the part of the cutter that is farther away from the center line of the part. Another lesser concern...
Your English is great. I am just bad at explaining things. I'll try to post and image. My first attempt on this forum.

A poor image but if you click on it it will be viewable.
As a general rule I try to turn the smaller diameter first both to minimize burring and also to maintain the rigidity of the part. In other words if you were turning the whole thing down to 1/4"...
I watched your video and I have looked into replacing the monitor in our VF-2. You can get an original CRT through HAAS but they are probably very expensive. A search online found many places selling...
I am unfamiliar with this particular control but maybe you could change your M00s to M01s (optional stops) for a work around. Also, take a look at the G-code in the line or two just after the M00....
Yes, some Bridgeports and Bridgeport knock-offs have a hollow base that serves as a coolant reservoir. Is there a screen covering a hole in the top of the base? In general this Bridgeport looks like...
I know this is an older thread but the two most important things are proper pinouts on the rs-232 cable and matching communications parameters (except for the port number of course). If you stil...
We had this problem every couple years or so. Coolant would get in the limit switch housing and either ruin the micro switch or gum up the actuator. We found that if you take the switch apart and...
Hello everyone. I have a Mitsubishi MELDAS 500 control on a generic VMC. I know how to search a program for a text sting like "T1 M06" within a program. I would like to know how to find the next...
Hello everyone,
As the title indicates we have an old Charmilles Robofil 310 wire machine. We have been having troubles with wire breakage during the annealing process of the wire cut function....
We have recently purchased a used HG400 III horizontal. Everything is working fine after we worked a few bugs out. We would like to slow down the pallet change because we are pushing the max load...
