@ Fastest1 - I have tested treadmill DC motor with 12V and 200V (after rectifier) - it was spinning just fine.

I decided to add simple reversing switch. I have seen similar mods on the net,
so I thought that it is going to be an hour job. At most. Apparently I was wrong.

One more thought. I just realize that Y-axis was giving me problems
from the very beginning. While X and Z was always working nice and
smooth, Y was louder, sound choppy, tend to bind or loose...

that you need to move focus down as you cut through thick
material - why not to employ machines own Z-axis control
to do the job right...
