Been working on this post for a while now, have fixed the m codes for parts catcher, m codes for live tool on off and stop, c axis engage, turned on the y axis. I cant figure the spindle speed for...
please PM me a contact email or phone number.
Yes it was, still going through them all. At least I got the operation done that I needed.
250.00 TO e apprentice, learned to use a neg vector length and then depth cuts will work.
I want to trim around the outside of a hand route fixture, need depth of cuts etc. tried curve and I can follow the curve normal to the surface, but no depth of cuts, not able to cut deeper than the...
How do you do a 5 axis contour in x5. normal to a surface?
Thanks
Tilted work plane and 3 axis tool paths is the answer for most of this. Thanks Mike Mattera. Your training videos are the best.
Thanks
Trying to learn something new at work, any way, just go with me on this.
Looking at one of these removable five axis heads and wondering about tool paths. Say I have a part that has some undercut...
On my cell phone now so search will happen tomorrow on the PC. I do not have setting 191this machine is old, 2000 VF6. Setting 85 is at .005 now. I did read that g187 will change it to what ever...
Max corner rounding. It says the default is 0.0 and max is .050. I am wondering if this helps with accel and decel into and out of corners. How and why to "tune" the setting. Having a finish...
Spoke too soon, I get my A axis moves now but it wants to give each axis position a new offset, (G55, G56, G57 etc.). How do I make That change? I have all the planes set to -1.
Man I love it when I find my answers in others posts. Thanks for the indirect help!
It started to really gouge in, I got her shut down before it went more than a couple hundred thou. It is programed to leave .020 for finish. It also only cuts around the outside of the pocket that...
I see nothing when I do that. I wonder if it could be the post?
I roughed the inside of a long "v" shaped part with a 3 in shell mill and tried restmill to finish the rough. The restmill only cut around the peremeter of the cut and did not finish the rest of the...
woops, I maeant
Thanks
.
Is there not jumpers to set, by the transformers, to adjust for input voltage on your machine? I have a TL-1, TM-1P and a TM-3P and they all do.
Can you go more indepth as to what you are refering to here? Are you reverse engeneering here to some degree, or just checking parts after machining, etc?
Its a regen resistor. A motor becomes a generator when no voltage is put to it but it is still rotating, like on a decel or stop command. This resistor "uses" this voltage so it doesn't "spike" the...
I was wishing for a c-hook or something. Oh well, no biggie.
I'd like to leave a .020-.030 thick tabs in various locations around a part, can V9 do this automatically somehow? I break up chains to do it now and its a giant PITA.
YOu know like G54, G55, ECT?
Thanks.
From the operations manager, click backplot, run, and at the bottom left it will give you a run time.
Thanks for the help Matt, I own your complete set of training software for v9. I'm sorry but I still am not understanding how to make the tool numbers and associated tools with feeds and speeds the...
i don't think you need to change anything in MC. Use the tool diameter comp in the control of the machine. The program will stay the same.
That fixed my post, thanks. How about the tool list defaults?
Thanks again.
I have been streamlining my operations lately and would like some of the things to come up to my preset defaults like, I want MC to use my Haas post instead of the MPFan post all the time without me...
If a stinkin' centroid control can do this why cant the marposs I got from Hass? Seems to me this would only be software or a macro to make the marposs do this. Is it already out there? This is...
I got my tm3-p installed today and noticed the same thing.
