the spindle speeders work well, probelm is I can't hold any cutter bigger than .250"...
The machine I have now, is a Hurco BMC 4020. I think I can retrofit a highseped spindle to that. Highly specialized equipment is not in the future-yet...
Thanks guys, research continues. It looks like 25k will be the fastest I can find.If it can't hold a 3/4 end mill, or a face mill, I don't want it. It will be too specialized, and too small of a work...
Should I look at? What should I avoid? I am looking for a 3(possibly 4/5)axis machine with the following traits:
1. 25k-100k RPM spindle(ok 100k is unrealistic I'm sure)
2. CAT 40 spindle
3....
