Thanks Geof, you are the man with the answers! I really appreciate it.
So this resulting file will be one large file with all the programs in it?
What does one do when/if needed to recover? Open...
On startup I see:

Greetings Group.
I did do a search but didn't find...
Can someone outline specifically what I need to do to backup all my programs in the control to floppy.
I do see in the EDIT screen under...
Thanks Geof,
I am wanting to use the M-codes to control a coolant pump, air solenoid that drives a jig grinder attachment, and a vacuum system.
I agree and that's the way I am thinking of handling...
Thanks Geof I will take a closer look at your write-up on the matter.
No I don't have the actual HAAS kit. Its something I put together and right now just operate it manually with a 110V switch....
Greetings group.
I have a 2004 TL-1.
I've never had a coolant pump on this machine(turn plastics), but I want to run one now. I have the coolant pump system.
Where do I hook it up? What pins are...
Hi Wilson.
Thanks for the response. I was still having the problem and my work around was to set the IPS section to manual when running something from memory. This way, when/if it reverts back to...
..
I think it was on this site or maybe the "other" site. There was a member who also made and sold tooling. The name of the company started with a "M". In Illinois I believe. Started with tool holders...
Exactly how much torque is a good question.
I use a 16" long wrench to tighten mine. I tighten it as tight as I can get it without actually putting my foot on the machine to get it tighter....
Does anyone have any idea what parameter or setting controls the time which the controller reverts back to IPS from memory mode????
Scenario; Running a program in memory mode and after a few minutes...
What about the power requirements for both Digital and RPC. Doesn't it require a lot of power to fire up and run and 40HP motor?
Have you viewed this stuff: http://www.haascnc.com/custserv_training.asp#custserv
There is training manual type of stuff towards the bottom of the page..
I have seen but not actually used the...
If you are talking about the one that is advertised on EBAY from Richlin that one is made to order by a guy in Nevada. Then theres the Dorian Victrory setup ($$$). I have looked and looked and...
Or you could do like I do for my kid all the time; Get those HP iron on transfers; print and iron. If you are careful they last a few months.
The kid digs it because I can capture images from...
Thats a good thing isn't it? Having HAAS machines made on a more superior piece of equipment.
Geof,
Why the G90's here?:
O00000
G10 L2 G90 P1 Z0.0 (Make sure G54 is at zero)
G10 L2 G90 P2 Z-0.5 (Set G55 forward one part thickness)
G10 L2 G90 P3 Z-1.0 (Set G56 forward two part...
On my '05 TL-1. It just slides right off the back after removing a couple stopper bolts. Heavy beast though.
Maybe worth mentioning here is the possibility of a gang tool type setup. Dorian makes a Gang tool setup (Victory CNC Gang Tool and Holders) that will interface with a CXA Q/C toolpost.
Yeah its...
Where are the founders of Fadal today?
Man, they go way back. I wish there was a Wikipedia article on them.
edit:
After a little remedial math; I'd suspect they are all deceased or damn near.
Since we are talking out of the box a little bit here. Why not just unbolt the stock table put it on the shelf and put on a plate ground and with the necessary hold down features of course.
Congrats on the machine, she is a beauty.
Take a good look at ONECNC.
Damn, that sure is a purdy flashlight.
What are the specs on that baby? Do you sell those?
I've had a TL-1 for going on 5 years. No problems. It is not the stiffest machine, but it is exactly what it is supposed to be. It has paid for itself many many times over. I would buy one all over...
There was a zipped file circulating around that contained some PDF and PPT files that had some lessons. If someone doesn't chime in with what you need to know send me a PM with your email address and...
Damaged in what way??
Fourperf,
I need to get a air dryer system.
What model did you get and about what could I expect to pay? You bought it in Cali? I am in Socal myself. Who did you buy from?
Thanks,
Dean
fourperf,
What did you end up going with?
I hate to suggest china stuff. So I will put on my fire retardant suit. Just seems like you cant beat the price on this unit: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=40211...
