I would be interest as well - but not without looking at the machine (or what's left of it).
Agree with Dave - Nathan has a great product line but stretches himself pretty thin in what is a competitive market - have faith

Did you get the machine?
I'm struggling to get the 'Flood' or 'Mist' controls working with the subject relays. Once Mach three is enabled, the relays go 'ON' and are not controlled by the buttons in the diagnostic screen. ...
Thanks for the suggestion - I tried propane and held it on the bolt threads from the back side (removed the Z-axis plate from the machine) for a couple minutes. Still not getting it. I read where...

Ouch, Okay so I trusted BuildYourCNC because I've always had good experience with their products.
I'm going to give him a couple days to respond to a request for more 'documentation' and if...
I am in the same situation. Purchased the exact controller mentioned and was surprised at the level (not) of documentation. Google searches yield some returns (based on model number) but...
We're still trying to decide on the next spindle to install on the Monsters machine. Things have been kinda busy here with FIRST Robotics in full swing but a question has come up re: a Liquid Cooled...
Finally got 220 V to the machine and we're ready for the GMT spindle.
Does this spindle use any brackets to mount on a Saturn?
I looked on the FLA site and could not find anything.
Does it...
Very nice!
Just ordered an 'eastcaroga' cyclone separator for my Saturn!
We love the machine - very solid. No doubt it'll cut as fast as the tools and materials will allow - and it is heavy. Nate can give you the actual weights. Ours came in with a shipping weight over...
We finally got a KentCNC Split Shoe - very nice piece!
Removable brush with magnetic retention is a great feature.

Our vacuum and hose may be a little undersized - need to use...
Understand and agree. We have magnetic limit switches on our other machine (below) and they were no big deal to install. The inductive sensors are not as friendly to package. Sound like I need to...
We just finished the spoiler board base using the Saturn to drill mounting holes (3 inch spacing) and than adding holes for 3/8 inch threaded inserts. Had to place two sheets of MDF to get the work...
Yeah, drilling the frame was fun....
Fortunataly, the crosshead stops are aluminum.
We located the sensor on the center line of the upper rubber stop and remounted the bumper half way between...
Relocated Y-Axis limit sensors similar to difalkner and sybilsurf

Yeah, looking closer at your installation it's obvious the motor pilots as intended - hmmmm
Agree we need a better design option for mounting the larger motors on the Z-Axis.
X and Y are well thought out and it seems like we're missing something for the NEMA-34 Z-axis installation.
...
Z-Axis motor (NEMA 34) mount problem - same issue as sybilsurf
We used longer 10-32 Allen Head Cap Screws to offset the 1/2 inch.

The machine is not shown 'centered' on the table so it looks like a little more room than intended. But the table is definitely a bit larger than necessary - did it cause we could I guess.
Even before hearing from FLA that the machine was on its way, we had started a design of the bench. Our inspiration started with Cavemancarver's bench using wood/MDF.

Thank you for the offer but after I spoke to Nate I went ahead and ordered one from RouterParts
I bought this brush from McMaster-Carr - works well but does not bend around curves easily. Other variants in their catalog may be more flexible....
David, how was the work piece held while you were carving the letters?
Just received word from Nate that our machine is on it's way and we are scrambling to get the garage ready. The machine stand is going to look a lot like Caveman Carver using wood and MDF sheeting. ...
Going through the threads plus a visit to Nate's shop, I pulled the trigger on the same machine a couple weeks ago. Hoping mine is next in line!.
