My wife was going to get me the indicator that K2 sells(actually I was paying $140 and she was paying the rest) for Valentines. I sent them an email asking a question and they replied, I sent them...
I have been pretty much just an AutoCad guy, But just recently the company i work for started sending six of us to the local community college for Solid Edge training. So far I am loving it more and...
Thats pretty amazing, I seen a photo of a simular setup in a woodworking book once. I beleive it was taken in the late 1800's or early 1900's. I had no ideal countries were still using simular setups.
I was wondering if Harbor Fright quit selling their model, I can't seem to find it on their website any where?
Im not sure which is best, but at work they usually laminate then cut without any problems.
Hey Tauseef,
I was just looking at the photos on your website and I noticed you have cable carriers on your machine now. Are they a recent addition? I don't remember you having them before. And...
Thanks for the updates Tauseef, I was actually just looking at this thread over the weekend. I was thinking man its been nearly 3 and a half years since the last post. It seems like just yesturday.
Hi,
My wife and I just got the Cricut Expression, I was just looking at the blade and I beleive the cone shaped part you seen is actually the top of the blade. It is held in place by a magnet and...
I forgot to mention, before they bought another vacuum pump they had two of the CNC machines hooked up to the same vacuum pump. They used to put duck tape on all the edges of the LDF to help prevent...
The LDF stands for "light density fiberboard". They use 3/4", The reason they skim it the first time is to remove the thin coating on the top and bottom surface, Which really increases the vacuum...
Have you thought about using a 4x8 sheet of LDF. Thats what they use to hold sheets of plywood where I work. They just skim down both sides before the first use.
They turned out great.
I love the dust collector, Most of the factory made ones are way to big for my shop.
I work as a CNC Programmer and operater for a furniture company. All I ever use at work for the programming is AlphaCam 7.5 and AutoCad. I have been using it for almost four years, I really like the...
That is some great work!
I like AlphaCam, but I think thats because thats the only cam package we use at work and Im so used to it.
I don't think it was in the computer, I have installed and been using XP for nearly a month now on the same computer and havn't had one thing go wrong with it yet (I only had Vista on the computer...
Maybe, I guess I will find out for sure after I get XP on it.
I just received a new computer for Christmas preinstalled with Vista on it. I have just spent about 3 hours tring to get it set up and making restore discs and it has already locked up twice and I...
I was just wondering, are there any updates on the hornet?
Man that had to hurt.
Wow, Thats looking awsome.
Here is the dxf for the vacuum channels under the table top that allow the vacuum through all the holes in the top itself. I did make the pocket around the main vacuum entrance (the big hole on the...
Here are the dxf's for my vacuum table top the one called vacuum channels is the vacuum channels them self and the one called bolt down fixture holes is for the holes I made so I could bolt down some...
Your workshop is looking great. Thanks for sharing it.
Yeah, I built a small wooden deck for it. In order to get it inspected they required a small deck since the doors opened out instead of in. Yesturday I had a guy with a Ditch Witch come out and cut...
Hi Andre,
Sorry for taking so long to answer this question. I didn't even notice it untill now. To hook the vacuum to the table I just used a 90 degree elbow my dad had laying around. I beleive...
Thanks Toby.
Right now I don't have that many machines to put in it. I have a K2- KG3925 CNC, A small band saw and a Small drill press. I don't think I will be adding very many others maybe just...
Still need to do the other stuff on your list, but already have the A/C part taken care of, LOL.
