Nope, there is no "correct main board" button... you need to select correct main board (hardware initialize) from the configure menu (gear icon in the corel laser plugin). I'm no expert, but i assume...

with 15mA it would not cut anything.. rather burn the tube than have a completely useless machine..

I have a analog dial type mA meter on my 40w china laser. It reads 25mA at max power, is this correct? I just read that the 40w laser should not be run at over 15mA?

Even though i just got my machine, i can tell you that 40w can't get you even close of engraving any metal. You can maybe burn the paint from it, if that is enough.

But what is this "running-in adjusment" ?

And how do i know things, like what model is my mainboard.. there seems to be no model number on it. At least nothing that comes close to the available...
