I want to use an output to execute a command to play a sound file through an amp and speakers. I have 4 different sounds I'd like to be able to use.
Thanks for looking.
I want to add 4 different sounds (wav,mp3 etc.) and control each individually by a dry contact. Any ideas on what keyword to search or where to look.
Thank You.
Anyone could point me in the right direction, would be greatly appreciated.
I am working on a '85 Sharanova with a Win3.1 OS. I'm set with the hardware, just not sure how to set up network as...
If you can do it by hand then it is at least possible. You are assuming that feed is constant. An input for presence of part entering planer would start program and continue to provide signal for...
Here's mine. Housing from scrapyard, otherwise I built for around $100. Based my impeller on the one in the photo.
Why not download trial version of mach. it asks for Pulses per unit.
Here's my solution. No collection. Exhausted outdoors. (I have no neighbours).
The aluminum blower housing I got from a scrapyard for free. The square aluminum housing and both flanges I...
To have two motors sync'd together you'll need to have a drive for each.
Connect the second as if it were the "A" axis.
Some cnc programs such as Mach will have a slave option to do all the work...
If you look at the picture you will see that I have used a pressurized tank, an expired propane tank to be exact. I have no water source at this location because of freezing. The tank is 1/2 full of...
Thanks for the inspiration. Not sure what the best detection means is. I simply used a temp controller mounted on the top of the tank. Before it melts the valve should open and dump 1 gallon of water...
I don't know where you live but this may be worth your trip.
I live across the border from Detroit, in Windsor Ontario. We had been the mold/tool capital of the world for many years until the...
I had considered vacuum for myself but discarded the idea because I am primarily a wood guy. Good for a smooth, non porous area though.
Having used vacuum to hold parts on my robots at work I have...
Most anything can be clamped down, it's tried and true. Use some imagination.
Where do you live, I'm sure a local member would be more than happy to show off thier work, I sure would.
Oh so true.
I am also willing to help, although I have built a 2' x 4' machine and $300-$500 was about 30% of my actual budget.(shhh don't let my wife know)
Another note today on safety.
I have had fire in my dust collector.
The problem was in my material. It was a laminated panel with spruce on the face and multiple plywood layers beneath. The...
I had a fire in my shop, caused by my wood stove in 2003, Christmas Eve to be exact. I had complete coverage i.e. go to the store and buy it new or 75% cash. Mind you I did have to provide proof...
Much agreed, you need a Hydraulic print. I have 10+ years in plastic injection and am struggling with your description.
Wow 4000 rpm.
I meant direct belt drive, i.e. belt pulls both ends of gantry.
Sorta on topic sorta out there:
What about an endless belt, one motor, driving both ends of the gantry?
Yes I agree that to accurately mechanically link the two drive screws would be a tough challenge, however with a minor amount of slack the belt would just be there for the ride, to prevent any damage...
I get used open face 3/4" thomson bearings by the sh!tload for free. They come from a industry which replaces dozens every six months regardless. I soak in heated citric degreaser then break clean,...
Steppers run much better at low speeds. I have 2 800 oz/in steppers on 1/2" ballscrews with a pitch of 5/in. My gantry is made of aluminum, around 125 lbs. I microstep at 2000 p/r, or 10000 p/in. I...
Not to keep you up at night but my fear is a failure of one side of the gantry, i.e. only one side advances = total destruction. The home issue is a no brainer with mach. Buy good switches. Mount one...
I wouldn't worry about the center being all that soft as I found out when I cut my keyways. One note though if I had to do it again I would have ground the ends rather than turn.
I used Autocad14. All machined parts are documented. Any "engineering" changes that were made during/after construction were based upon these.
Makes life easy.:)
control panel,system,device manager
Under the config menu select soft limits, though I manually change tools so I'm not sure of impact on the M6 G43 commands.
The basic idea is that your cnc program will provide a step and a direction signal for each motor (5vdc). That means that you will run a pair of wires from your parallel port to each drive. The drive...
