Sorry for the delay, haven't checked for a while...
The DXF file is currently the only one i have, not sure why you have the problems you describe - maybe someone with aspire can help out?
I was trying to design this conversion with minimal complexity - using end-machined ballscrews etc.
Drill and tab a few holes and mount everything from there, the height of the ball nuts doesnt...
Here's my plan to cnc a small 7x12 mini lathe.
Standard 16x5 ballscrew sets
2-D parts lasered
thanks, i'll try and see what happens.
that was the question - can i simply reverse the leads going to the motor?
the reverse mode only has 1/2 the power.
RotarySMP,
thats how my temporary solution looks like atm. However i...
Hi everybody,
long time lurker here - i'd have a question about the motor of my mini lathe.
The gears broke and i'd like to convert to pure belt-drive by adding a big tooth belt disc direktly on...
drivers are of the shelf half stepping L297 devices, motors are single shaft.
in my most recent test i turned down the motor current at maybe 30% and i cannot hear resonances any more. however i...
re-installed windows in non-acpi mode, keep losing steps.
there is some growling coming from the steppers at very low speeds (i can hear it clearly while engraving circles)
BUT i cannot hear...
actually i keep losing steps at low feed too, i just didnt realize that in the first place.
resonance noises improved quite a lot when i lowered the current.
another thing is that the driver test...
ok, i have playing with some things.
1. i turned on constant velocity
2. i lowered the motor current at my half stepping controller.
probably resonance-related problems, since at lower current...
pretty please :)
hi guys,
i have been engraving with my diy conversion mf70 mill succesfully for some time now. i use a standard half stepping controller / mach3, but with a low speed (300mm/min)
recently i...
hardeep,
thanks for your post.
i´m aware about the different magnetics, silicone steels corn oriented hysteresis etc. i already purchased the material i need (and have been working with...
hi gene,
thanks for your reply - yes, just like EI laminations, ur UI in my case
here is the measurement:
it would be possible to stamp them scrapless, since one I fits inside 2 U´s.
hello all,
this is my first post, thanks for keeping up this great forum!
i´m looking for information to stamp my own transformer laminations from 0,35mm strips. i bought a book about tool...
