check your NC rack voltages. set 5 volts to 5.1 vdc measured at the backplane!!!!!!
check and replace your batteries on the UA+SAL board.
check your 24 vdc supply.
thats a start
hi
E02 P01? is a 24 vdc failure usually.......
i can repair UP/UPH boards if you can t-shoot it down to that
mac
Talk to Larry McNamee at edmsupport.com. he can assist you with all the details of the 90's Agie wires, he has parts and an excellent service tech to support those machines.
Sent from my Torque...
make sure that both the upper and lower contact wetting waters are flowing.
also i would remove both upper and lower injection chambers and service them.
while the chambers are removed switch...
find the source of the short and remove it.
the table should not move while in short.
check the wire feed for shorts, etc.
good luck,
mac
are you using CT-EXPERT to create tech?
Or are you using predefined tech?
is this a "Brass" generator?
try :
B 7.3
no i don't have any schematics for the weir.
for a replacement, use:
5 Volts DC at 60 amps
plus/minus 12vdc or 15vdc at live 5 amps each should do.
good luck
mac
i can fix that board.
pm me for more info.....
michael
call EDMNetwork.
i've been repairing all edm pcb's for 17 years. done boatloads of japax and sodick, charmilles, mits, ona, you name it.
mac
well you are not really EDMing when the machine is in dry run, you are probably(definately) making contact between the wire and the work. so you have turned the machine into an eletronic bandsaw.
...
hello Carlos,
is it a console2 ???
mac
hello yssvaff,
"E05 P07" usually means a bad power supply.
check for green led's on the UA/SAL circuit board. (no red leds lit just after power up.)
check your 24 vdc power supply.
check...
thats an old machine.
it runs on a pdp8\a computer.
it loads software by tape, but it can store g code in memory.
hopefully they have a tape reader eliminator card installed.
it burns quite...
you should read the info supplied above and you will see that the your ON time is WAY too long and your OFF time is WAY too short.
what about your wirefeed system and wire tension BOTH must be...
that would work
but it would be a crude spark.
AT&T also offers Rotary Phone service.......
mac
PULSE RATE (frequency) adjustment may be a problem with the sinker gen.
usually there is no provision for that as they adjust OFF time instead.
the pulse rates should be variable from approx. 5Khz...
i agree with jetski.
your going to have to examine the output pulses of that sinker genrator.
a wire machine's generator output is not quite the same as
a sinker generator.
the "ON" times...
call edm network
EDM Machine | Electronic Discharge Machines | CHMER EDM | Sinker | Wire | Sodick | Used | Tooling | EDM Network
they can hook you up with a resonable and reliable used edm
...
i've worked on many SH2's and i don't recall the machine automatically homing on power up, thats just not part of the Sodick boot sequence......
i should be able to help you.
PM me for contact info...
take a high resolution photo of the board and email them to me and i'll tell you if i can repair it or not. the photos must be clear and focused in order for it to be useful
reply here and i'll give...
then have one made, its like 1600 bucks
i get mine from digikey
Digi-Key - MP6-3E-1L-1L-00-ND (Manufacturer - MP6-3E-1L-1L-00)
