Hello everyone,

Do you think the doctor would help you if you told the doctor ha had no clue what he was doing?
Or
Would you get a bit pissed at the doctor if he told you that you needed to stop smoking to get...
I agree Joe. It gets tough though when you have someone telling you you have no idea what your doing when he hasn't listened to what I'm saying so we can all fix the problem.
The problem I'm...
No it was even better for me because I now know that there are some on this forum who truly think that they really know everything.
When someone like you said what you said that tells the world that...
9.0 is what I'm using....Personally I think it has something to do with the computer it's running on.
Win 7 pro 64 bit.
I think it was an update that was installed that's causing a glitch....
UHH...That's the POINT! They are ALL set correctly.
THAT'S THE POINT OF THIS POST!!
Pay attention to what I'm doing? LOL
Is there anyway to fix this?
Here's what I'll do, when the problem happens again I'll post the code and a screen shot of what's happening. Then I'll change the sequencing of the cuts by 1 move and (it will fix the problem) and...
Well this all just started 4-6 months ago and it happens every so often.
I'm wondering if I should just reload Mcam9 on the computer again and see if that fixes it.
The settings have been fine...
I'm using Mcam9.
Been using it for years with no problems.
Is there a "Safe Z' setting anywhere in Mcam9?
Hi all,
I'm having a serious problem that I can't get figured out.
Mastercam putting in Z moves where they shouldn't be.
When I get done with a contour profiling around a part or a pocket etc......
I meant the actual mcam9 file, just save it as a mcam9 file not a sat or para
and you can't save it as a mcam9 version?
Also,
once that has the radius on it, is there any way to reduce the thickness of the part to .690 without having to re-create the whole thing?
maybe scale it in the Z axis?
Mcam 9 says it will.
Were you able to get the rad on there?
Can you export it as a sat or iges file?
I can't open the file you sent in mcam9
From your description regarding the way you did the radius, I've tried that and it only gets me so far then just stops.
Any idea why this is happening?
that's it in a nut shell
Hi all,
If anyone can help I would sure be grateful.
I have this part and need to put a 3/32 rad on the top and bottom that goes all the way around. It's never been a problem, but this part just...
How do you get to "Create Label" in mcam9?
ok I'll give both ideas a try.
thanks
It looks like I can only type in 1 line of text.
Is there a way of typing in a paragraph so
it all comes in at the same time?
How can I change True Type Fonts into single line engraving fonts?
Is this possible?
Also, I have Mcam 9 and want to write 4 or 5 lines that need to be engraved.
How can I write all 5 lines at...
Everything has to be converted to curves with no fill at all..
I exported it as a dxf in Autocad 2000 format.
All seems to work ok.....
I'm trying to upload the file but it won't let me, it keeps saying "Invalid File "
All the file consists of is 2 rectangles and some text.
I should be able to export it an then import it as...
Hi,
I have vector artwork in Corel Draw X4 and need to bring it into MCam 9 as vector artwork.
When I export it out of Corel and into MCam as either a DWG or a DXF file it turns it into all splines...
Hey cool man - it worked great.
Thanks.
One more question..
After it projects the vector line on the part - the original lines still show.
What's the best way to get rid of the original lines?
Hi,
I need to do some engraving on a 3-D part.
I already have the part profiled and cut in Mcam 9
Now I need to project letters and numbers on to the surface and engrave it .005 deep.
Anyone...
might want to try a Precision Twist Drill.
IMO, PTD drills have the best grind on them.
Just play with the speeds and feeds.
