It doesnt work, the program we noted the issue on was years old run hundreds of times previously.

the code is setup to use absolute arch centers. we do not use any cutter compensation and the tool is centered.

you only need to draw half the tool then save it as mcx file. then when creating a custom tool select from file and pick the mcx file.

there should be a directory with some custom tools in it...

k factor is the the neutral line in the part. if set to 1 if you want to use the outside of the radius for your flat length, set to 0 and you will use the inside, .5 will use the middle.

why not get a band saw and replace the blade with diamond wire. i would think the reciprocating idea wouldn't be ideal as the tiny length of wire would wear out to fast and heat up to fast.
