Anyone else install it yet?

It’s almost as if the “feed hold” is intermittent. Though it would also happen when the spindle is stopped and just the axes are moving.
I believe that Bridgeport always set the machines up (PLC)...
Here is a quick translation of your supplied program written in HDH.
0 BEGIN PGM VAR-RAD MM
1 Q20 = 10 ;NUMBER OF TURNS
2 Q19 = 50 ;START RADIUS
3 Q8 = 40 ;END RADIUS
4 Q7 = 30 ;TOTAL...
Why is that that a fanuc programmer wouldn't be interested in Siemens/Heidenhain?
If you have a 20 line program please post it would like to see how easy it is.
I guess Imachining would be nice if it ever gets off of Beta! Been waiting 3 years.
June 30th has come and gone...the wait continues...
Cycle 32!!
CYCL DEF 32.0 TOLERANCE
CYCL DEF 32.1 T0.1
Yeah anyday now, how many times have I heard that? Actually I just heard it today! Asked how everyone seems to be running 2011 already online who just bought the software and why it's not available...
So how is a guy with one Haas in his garage able to get imachining 5 months ago and I ,with more than 5 licenses and more than 10 high end 5x machines, still waiting for 3 years to see it? Last I...
Fanuc to heidenhain is pretty easy to convert since the heidenhain is a more capable controller. Heidenhain to fanuc could be nearly impossible at times.
I would have to think or try what would happen if you placed mirror before cycle19 and it would depend what you're trying to do but I place the mirror after the Cycle19 and I've not known it to not...
Works on our machines.
What software version are you running?
Also if you want to post or send a snippet I'll try it on ours.
It's actually not to complicated. But the details needed are
1. Logic unit ID number (located on the logic unit)
2. Software version number (access through MOD key)
3. Do you have any free...
So with the HDH G83 cycle N95 Z+7.05 is the start height (R plane), G83 P01 is the incremental distance from the start height to the work piece surface and G83 P02 is the incremental drill depth...
you can't mix g-code with Heidenhain clear-code within the same program but you can use PGM CALL to call a g-code pgm or Heidenhain pgm.
also unless you have a good reason to use g-code just use...
so the problem as I see it is that your spindle is not stopping fast enough at the bottom of the hole thus over running the floating holder.
So couple of things to do or change.
1. Make the...
actually you don't need to use FN (functions) to declare vairable or math functions .
using FN to do these things is to prevent mistakes in syntax so if you use FN1 noboby can make a change to...
When I say less powerful I mean the processor/block processing time is slower. On board memory is smaller. The 620 has all the same cycles if you buy the option. But it can be bought stripped down...
The 620 uses a "soft" keyboard meaning you can call it on the screen.
The 620 really doesn't have any advantages over the 530 it is actually cheaper and less powerful. The one big difference is the...
You seem to have major problems with your posted program.
1. Don't use m128 while drilling thats for "tool center point managment".
2. use g80 to set the work plane
3. call the drill cycle after...
Yes it can be done except to line 0 of the preset table
use function 17 syswrite to do it.
Call heidenhain directly or order the lip seal from a heidenhain distributor
Depending on which software version you have there should already be a TP cycle for aligning to a plane.e
If not you can write your own using Q values.
There are no limit switches just hit the CE key.
As for the "break test" there is a soft key in manual mode that you have to hit periodically.
Unfortunately I don't think you can do it easily since the cycle is written to move the "Z" axis.
Best bet is to write you own drilling macro and call it with the G39 program call function.
Sounds as though your rotary axis transformation points are wrong.
What exactly are you calibrating and how are you doing it?
I would assume your calibrating the Rotary axis transformation points....
1. power on the machine
2. hit MOD key until it asks for password
3. enter password 807667 -> ENT
4. choose edit PLC ->ENT
5. hit EXT key
6. if it asks for PLC to input press NOENT
7. put any...
I need a copy of the PLC off a Bridgeport Interact TNC151B machine. So if anyone has a copy or a machine where they can download the PLC it would really help me out.
Thanks
Subdivide and multiply are essentially the same thing. I'm not familiar with with MACH but if it does either of the two it is increasing the number of pulses.
yes the multiplying by 2 was for the belt gear ratio. Remember too that your controller will also subdivide the signal, again generaly 4times for a TTL signal
