Try slowing down the baud rate. Reseat the plugs on both ends of the rs232.
Yes it will.
You have to get the input voltage right to start. Usualy there is a transformer on the floor of the cabinet on Fanucs that is a multi-tap. It will also have the output voltage required...

Does the meter (the one with V) show 90 to 110 volts? Does it jump up before the cycle is kicked out?
It sure will.
27 vdc on a 24 vdc line is over 10%. It will mess you up.
Sounds like it will be EZ fix... Once you find it... LOL .:D.. sorry ...You'll find the right supply transformer.

Use the CNC vertical machining center to make your electrodes.
Burn the shape with a conventional ram EDM.

For a Fanuc to go into cycle. And lock. You must have 4 things.
Wire
Water
Tension
Power
Have you checked the wire break switch or switches?
Big blue. Little blue. or the DI pump? There are 3.
I have adapted Elox power supplys to Eltee Pulsatrons and Cinn EDMs.
Hansvete makes a low power unit.
How many amps do you need? jim
Find the above page. And change the " input units " to " 1 ".
It is in the setting or handy pages.
I thought all OMs had this page.
