I new I was on the right rack regarding the Sact field, and found the answer in one of the other UCCNC threads (HY VFD); the UCCNC Sact field had to be set to 2451 for the dro to display the value....

There is a modbus plugin written for the ones that has changed to UCCNC. I will try this out when I do the change in the near future. I have the UCCNC sw and hardware waiting for me when i get home...

it is ment to be like that on these machines, but it is more common to have two bearings on the stepper motor side (preferably angular contact bearings) and one on the opposite side.
