Just a thought, are you going to add a soft start for charging the capacitor without damaging the supply???
The Time constant is "Tau" and IIRC it takes about 5 Tau (logarithmic function) to get to about 98% discharge
so your discharge would be 25 seconds...
How about adding a relay so when the supply...
Just thought I'd mention OP-Amps in general are not "IDEAL" as in they wont go to the rails... If you want the output to go 0V to 5V the -V supply must be less than 0V and the +V supply more than 5V...
No, when you energize an inductor ... relay coil or ignition coil for example, there is a magnetic field created. When the field collapses it creates a very high voltage spike that can damage...
Oh, and this one has been asked a few times around... not sure if you've seen it or answered or if i missed the answer, but do the 540 outputs have flyback diodes built in for the relays, or should...
I agree 100%... but I can save the filter and myself time...

Look up "Hirens boot cd" If you can find a copy of it, its just about all you'll ever need.
try Fdisk on the clone and make the disk/ partition ACTIVE...
next thing is you can do is try a utility that can back up/copy the MBR (master boot record) from your original drive.
Ghost might...
I know it doesn't apply to you, but I just checked the CEC-simplified, and we (Canada) don't well didn't as its an old copy, list a minimum, just a recommended 12" although the vapors comment does...
Your welcome Eh...
Sorry just had to enforce the stereotype ;)
Standard Cartesian coordinate system...
X... right is positive
Y... away/forward is positive
Z... up is positive
jog your machine, if the X numbers increase while the bit moves left.....
First idea that comes to mind is that taps are tapered, so if you run the tap in a predetermined depth the last few threads wouldn't be fully cut and would be tight just the last turn or so...

I recently bought a bandsaw blade that was variable pitch... 10-14 tpi... the teeth get closer and farther apart... cuts real nice... don't know if that applies here.
In the ports and pins configuration there is the "SPINDLE SETUP"
you can change the delays there... I'm not sure though if you set the M7 M8 to the same port/pin as your M3... if it would work...
I was told and tried it, that you can take tremclad and thin it with pure turpentine... it will dry very hard... not soft like if you just paint it straight out of the can...
I know you can dent...
Looks awesome
I'm not sure about your drivers/motors... but my setup Gecko G540/40V power supply Rack and Pinion geared to about 1 inch per revolution was pushing upwards of 1800 IPM so 1800 RPM on the motor...
I don't know about the smootstepper, but when a PC boots it does some voodoo... checking peripherals and setting IRQs etc.. at this time it can cycle the ports and pins...not even sure if its on...
Are you aware that the G540 has a charge pump circuit for safety purposes (and really it should be used) so if MACH or EMC etc. are not running the G540 and all outputs are disabled... also when the...
What kind of machine... mill,router,plasma,water-jet,laser??
Think about resolution vs speed... right now you have about 0.01125 inches per step, don't expect your micro-stepping to be linear...
To me they look like they could be stepper motors... just like some of the small printer motors you will find with separate "fields"... just BIGGER!!
so six wires , two fields , three wires per...

Don't worry .. I've made mistakes before too... rarely... ya right... lol
To be honest after I noticed it I had to double check to make sure I wasn't mistaken about it :p
My problem is I'm...
Short answer yes a USB serial port should work.
Slightly longer answer... there is a lot of manufactures and drivers out there, you may find that some USB-Serial adapters will work with your product...
^^^ Ummm no....
