I just brought one, and it worked out of the box, with the copy and past of the .dll file to the right directory in mach3 then restart mach3.
I am new to mach3 and have some problems with mach3...
WHAT DID YOU END UP DOING, I NEED ONE OR TWO PIECES TO A TOTAL OF 1400 X 800 OR 700 X 800 (X2) WITH WHAT EVER T-SLOT.
I am in same position as Ksoggs, interested to know what you went with, or trialed?
I built my machine with EdgeCAM, would buy it if it was under $4K AUD but its not.
Trialed countless others and...
Also list EdgeCAM, I used it to build my CNC love it, it does run SW files and will update them, but does not run inside of Solidworks.
Right now I am trying to find an alternative as my machine...
I got the motors but not eh bosch, I am using the ebay water cooled spindle, will also be looking at hooking it up soon, probably very similar setups in the end, I think its just three wires.
Also...
Hey mate I am also using those motors with my home made gantry setup.
Currently I have my whole system working, with MACH3, but am lacking a CAM package just wanted to find out what your using and...
Cheers VTX1029,
I found this straight after I posted, by playing with the machine/mach3 a bit more (I hated to be working on the machine without the limits and homes working right).
Seems after...
Hi,
I am having the opposite problem; I can set soft limits easily, but having hard time getting it to home to the home switch which is also my hard limits.
I have one proximity switch per axis...
Can you link this video?
Very neat work. I have there 450W/900W peak motors, are you able to supply any encoder covers for these motors?
How is the system running now, also did you actually test it with EMC2, and have any hints for others trying to run the DMM-Tech system with EMC2 or LinucCNC?
[QUOTE=cnczane;983573]
Yeah I initally done the same equation, 900W x 4 Servos, but as its peak power and not continous it is apparently not needed to have sooo much power supplied. As capacitors...
I want to also change from my 4x 48V 7.5A(output) PSUs to one or two larger PSUs (on a project I have yet to finish...)
I have 4x 900W(peak) Servos that this will be suppling power to through...
Hi Rod,
Sorry for massive delay in getting back to you. I have been ultra busy not getting much done, while helping support my wife with her International Coal Trade (Big Money).
With regards...
Hi Rod,
I managed to get all the motors running but only three from four of the Dyn2-H drives working through USB->RS232 cable one at a time. But cant get them working through the breakout board...
Rod are you able to post any pics of how it is all wired up?
I just received my DMM-Tech parcels of 4x 7.4Nm motor package, which included 4 PSU's which I am unsure how to wire into the Breakout...
I am willing to be a part of this group order.
Keep me posted
