@H500 - for now I'll try to lower the current to 1.1Amp cause is the most convenient measure. If it doesn't solve the issue I'll go with half-coil @ 1.5A . As I said, motors voltage is 28V

no, I don't need to make it bipolar. There are lots of unipolar drivers out there.
My only concern is how to power it properly. How many amps and how many volts to work in full throttle.
