@H500 - for now I'll try to lower the current to 1.1Amp cause is the most convenient measure. If it doesn't solve the issue I'll go with half-coil @ 1.5A . As I said, motors voltage is 28V
@James...
thank you very much!
Not finding a proper datasheet bother me a lot too....I looked everywhere....but I'll certainly try those changes you said.
By slow decay what do you mean? I have 20% - 40% -...
Hi everybody!
I have a cnc which run with THB6064 drives and the above motors :
Minebea 23PM-C108 6 wire unipolar ( series setup )

Hi everybody!
I have a cnc which run with theese drivers and the above motors :

1.5A / phase
I have set the driver to 1.5A ,...
I've run the drivers at 28v and something has gone wrong. After a time jogging in mach3, the psu choked like it was in overload and now the drivers don't work no more.
The motor locks when I apply...
Hello everybody,
I've searched the net up and down looking for an answer but couldn't find an appropriate one anywhere so I will post my question here :
Is it possible for Mach3 to actively...
I knew I shouldn't mess with microcontrollers when I don't know how to program them but now it's too late. I've already built the circuit and I've got the same problem as you... what are those "right...
Thank you very much for the answer,
but the board from google code dosn't look anything like yours although the schematic is practically the same... or you were not talking about your layout?!...
Hello everybody and sorry for grave-digging this thread but I thought it's the most appropriate to post here.
I've just built a linistepper based on the design found HERE.
After I've read as many...
thank you. I am able to solder and even to make a pcb by different methods but unfortunately I don't have the time designing them as well :( .
The kits won't help me much cause the shipping to this...
so even the Chinese implementations of tb6600 drivers are better? There are a few versions out there, can anyone recommend one of them wich which worked without major problems ?
What other drivers...
great news! although I know 6600 is better wouldn't work also with 6560 ?
Searching the web, I've seen some people writing that you need a H bridge driver to run a unipolar motor with bipolar driver.
I'm a bit confused...can I run the below stepper with TB6560 or TB6600...
Great! That's it!
I'm sure that's the case to my driver too because the only difference from L297 application circuit is that I use SN74HC08N instead L298 , so it's the same kind of driver
So it's...
Maybe it doesn't matter if you have expertise with this specific driver.
You said that is "Standard symptom of chopper driver" , so what has to be done in that case?
maybe it'll help me also...
no suggestion? :(
I have a L297 and SN74HC08N based driver built by myself from a diagram recommended by someone. I could give you a link if it's relevant.
If it is what you suggest, is there something that can be...
Hello everybody,
I need help with the following problem:
I have 1.5A/phase stepper motors and I've put an Amp Meter on my driver to adjust the current accordingly.
The thing is when I drop the...
I have Eset Nod antivirus installed but I think the computer is powerful enough not to "choke" .
@ger21 Thanks! That's it !! It also works setting to 3 . Also the vibration has been eliminated.
thank you! I thought that today... I'll try when I get home and I come back with details.
Any other thoughts?!
Hello everybody,
I tried to setup my motors in mach3 and I've noticed that those are skipping steps when jogging in Motor Setup . I'll try to post a video when I get home.
The motors are not...
so it's safe to power it with 14 to 24 volts ? it will not burn?!
no, I don't need to make it bipolar. There are lots of unipolar drivers out there.
My only concern is how to power it properly. How many amps and how many volts to work in full throttle.
6 wires , so it's a unipolar stepper
Hello everyone,
Someone gave me 3 motors with the parameters below ( very hard found ) :
Astrosyn - Shinkoh communication industry co. ltd
type: 23PM - C109
5.4 V/phase
1.5 A/phase
1.8...
Hello everybody!
I am trying to build myself a 3 axis cnc router and I was wondering if some more professional routers could check what they're doing.
For example: if I tell the machine to move...
