Hi just a quick update Jim, i have scraped all the electric Anilam 3000, reasons why ,the motor start contactors coils were all 115v (makes sense) but I didn't like the idea of 400v 3 phase and 115v...
that seems very easy, but looking inside the machine it doesn't look that simple. a really daft question but there is i assume 3 phase going power switch then the motor then the coolant pump and...
the 3rd picture i have no idear where these two wires went from the high voltage
sorry I wasn't clear the motors aren't moving but when i turn the handle the encoder seems to work.
i am thinking on the same as you with regards the trans former the wires that went to it are...
some progress today the motor drivers now have power, it would appear that the software is the next obstacle to challenge,
the spindle is not turning on but i can hear the relay trying to switch it...
the 3 phases goes to what's labelled in the drawings as "disconnect switch" and the 115v is labelled "AC PWR TO SVO DRV"
Cheers
oh ok thats something to work on there ios an estop and sevo reset and a green button and a red one green to run the code and red to stop i think
is the transformer not now redundent i have taken it off seems to me that it was a 3 phase to 115v and 12v
Oh what reset button .......
Hi Jim thanks again i have a new quandary it turns out the the extra wire as you predicted was connected to nothing so its now gone.
i have connected the Clarke to the plug that the power went to...
you are spot-on cheers i was having a blond moment.
Its ok cheers i have sorted it, its because its a Autotransformer Ha
I have a toroidal step up step down transformer it only has three wires and a diagram on the side that doesn't mean a lot to me
this was out of a step-up step-down transformer Pictured below ...
Just a bit of an update the transformer is not working. so i have bought a 115 3kva power supply and have connecter that too the wires that came from the transformer and all seems good.
but the...
ok i will give it ago Thanks again.
i am trying to do the same thing but after the CDS it says error at the top and then cannot find your controller board. i just wanted it offline any idea's
i am trying to work out what power supply at 115v will run 3 servo motors i will put a picture of the plate below off one of the motors
its all a mystery to me, what would you do to solve the problem my friend.
Earth L1 L2 L3 N

does a vfd not convert single phase to 3 phase or is the output 3 phase but only 220v ? 3 phase not 380v
do you mean wire the 5 pin plug from the machine directly to the clark .
the clark only has a 4 pin plug on the mill it has an extra Neutral pic below fingers crossed
What about this bad boy that i have brand new. bought it for another project.
i have a 7.5kv Hungyang inverter will that not just convert it to 220 in 380 out ?
thanks for your help i am trying to upload some pics of the transformer and the plate
lets go. no just one pic
no mater what I do I cant upload any more pics

Hi Jim thanks for the response i will post all the pictures that i have so, you have the complete picture.
