    I'm not familiar with the prolight specifically, but the vast majority of cnc equipment finds the home position when limit or proximity switches are triggered. Odds are you have a bad limit switch...

    Try reducing your speed on the curved cuts and see if the problem goes away. It could be whip in the axis movements.
