after some searching I will make my own with 80/20 material and 1/4 inch coroplast for the sides and back ,plexi glass front doors, Thinking of leaving the top open , not sure yet

Got it guys.....when I switched to epp I never tried engaging the motors again just seen the red fault light with the power on

just got my 540 Driver box from camtronics and my red fault light stays on and motors don't work
I tried a different paralell cable that I know works, switched to epp in bios and no luck, port 1...
mine says it too...how do you change it

If you Really want a good setup....sell that driver box and steppers on ebay and buy a Gecko 540 setup with steppers......

when I tried to run your program I got errors at those I and J lines saying no radius implemented....
it lifts because your cutter comp moves are not right....look at my example and try to program...
also no radius values here
be carefull here ..you are rapiding into the part
Tack ..you need to do a prep move 1st like this example to get cutter comp to work correctly....Do your prep move above the part

you set your Z zero at the top of the part and set your XY zero where you have programmed those axis's from.......
Thanks we figured it out today........you must have been refering to the brass nut in front of the coupler.....they were loose too
Got it back in within .0005 on Y and .001 on X .001 on Z...
