Re: Holes on surface of Cylinder

Unfortunately I can't open the file. It is from a newer version (I am on V26 Build 1335)
It sounds like you may have done what I needed, but were you able to get the hole center to snap to where...

  3. Re: HELP Toolpath changes when I reselect geometry

  4. Re: HELP Toolpath changes when I reselect geometry

    Yes.
I also removed my dotted line and made it solid. I removed everything and then got the path on track and WHAM I did another recompute and it went off again.....
Some things in BoB are easy,...
  5. HELP Toolpath changes when I reselect geometry

I have a part with "tangs" that I needed to change dimensions on slightly. I used translate to move the center cutout on the left side.
If I resect the geometry and recompute it changes my toolpath...

Re: Can Bobcad pocket an angle

That is exactly what I am trying to do.
I only am using 2D so I guess that is my problem. Here is a screenshot.
Do I have to redo all of this, or is there an easy way to make my layout into a...

    Can Bobcad pocket an angle

I have a part I need to cut an angle pocket in. The way we do it now is to set it up on an angle vise.
I was wondering if there is a way in BC (v26 build 1335) to have it profile the pocket...
  12. Re: Milling a hole - start the EM in center of hole

Thank you to both The Engine Guy and TonyW. Both methods worked and now I have 2 ways to approach this!

I have received so much help here in just a couple of tries I thought I would try again (and hope that one day I know enough to repay all of the assistance I am receiving by helping others).

    I...

    Re: Profiling

As far as the tolls and such I was just playing around with my "job" as I tried to lean things, so they were not "real world" for this example.
I watched Video # 95 and didn't catch on that the...
