Hello ericks,
I do appreciate the reply. I should have been more detailed in my question. I need a vendor or source located in the US. If possible a website or a manufacturer's part number.

Greets,
What type of wire can I use to connect the din rail terminals to my circuit breakers? Stranded or solid? Type?
Also, the other things that need power (PC, Monitor, Smoothstepper power...
mactec54 or anyone else,
Is there a wiring diagram for wiring the power inside an enclosure?
I'd like to see what other people have come up with.
Thanks
What is the purpose of the backplane?
It's not electrically isolated from the cabinet, is it?
again, thanks.
Charles
Didn't realize how expensive enclosures could be.
Saw this steel tool cabinet at a store nearby.
Its 28" x 28" x 12" for $80.00 Not very dustproof since there are no seals, but that's an easy fix....
A few more questions:
1. Do I need an EMI filter for the VFD supply?
2. Which should I use relays or contactors, that are also controlled by my E-stop switch, to turn off the VFD, Cooling pump,...
In regards to 4 wire cable, I would call it 10/4, but for some reason,Romex calls it 10/3 with ground. It has the four wires. Red, Black, White and bare. I can't blame this on Chinese. But yeah,...
How does this sound?
Even though my CNC is 15 ft away from the breaker panel, I would like a main shut off for everything (except PC).
That means the
VFD
Smoothstepper wall-wart power supply ...
Ok, both the VFD and spindle arrived today. YAY!
When you get the time, can you please send me the VFD parms that I need to set to keep from damaging this equipment?
Thanks again for all the...

Thanks

Please correct me if I am wrong. Is there an issue with running the VFD from a 220v outlet and everything else that is 110v (PC, Controller) going to a different outlet that my or may not share one...
While I am waiting for my VFD and spindle to arrive. I need to run a cable and install an outlet for the 220.
That won't be so bad since the breaker box is nearby.
The power cord that goes to the...
I can understand how it happens. Cut and paste this cut and paste that. Just can't believe in why it happens.
Ok, so unless you have any suggestions, I'm ordering that VFD and Spindle.
Thanks...
This is the picture I was referring to.

Looking at the thumbnail picture, next to the main thumbnail picture, it shows 8A.
So, everything else is good?
Thanks
Ok, before I break out the credit card...
Here are the VFD and Spindle motor I am thinking about getting.
VFD:...
From the seller's webpage, can't find a manual, the Output current is 13 amps. So this thing is going to draw roughly 26 amps?
Is the 220V 4.4KW GT version worth the extra $50.00 or should I just stick with the 220v 3KW HY version?
The GT version could draw around 20 amps, while the HY could draw 13. Any comments?
Yeah, I checked the resistance between the wires of the coils and got something like 1.1 ohms between them. To ground it was open.
You had asked me earlier about why i had a 110v VFD and that...
Did you get the spindle off Amazon or eBAY?
@milo30
Mind if I ask what spindle are you using and are you using mach3?
Thanks
Charles
I'm thinking about that 220v VFD, then I would need a 220v spindle?

Do you have any good or bad comments about this VFD?
...
Thank you for the quick response.
Well, at the time I didn't have a 220v outlet in the shop and since the company I bought my spindle from had a 110v VFD controller for a 2.2KW spindle I went that...
Ok, this morning my VFD died. YL600-2s-2k20 for 2.2KW spindle. This was bought from a company that said it was able to use 110V. No smoke, no pop, just the slow winding down of the spindle. The...
Well, I looked and looked and I could not find a solution to my problem. Hopefully someone here can help.
I have a Leadshine MX4660 controller with a SmoothStepper Ethernet connected to it. Port1...
Did you ever get this VFD to work with Mach3 controlling the spindle?
