It was most likely a corrupt xml setup file. Mach3's favourite trick. In most cases duplicate motor tuning settings conflicting. Makes for some very odd behaviour, if you copy a velocity setting and...
No help here then
Further update. air cutting same sheet that has shown issues with the y and monitoring voltage across the 3 x dsp drives @ 47.7 - 47.8v constant. Changed connectors for new ones now they are staying...

Hi There.
If considering buying a cnc machine from ebay, Someone is hacking ebay accounts and listing cnc machines.
I almost fell into his trap.
Fortunately I searched the machine and...
Venturing into cnc, sketchup has very limited value once you have the machine running if any. My advice would be to learn fusion 360.
I have just built a shoe like fretman idea. It stays at a fixed height. Works much better a than a brushed boot and I think you could introduce compressed air and still contain it. A brushed shoe not...
Maybe thats what it boils down to, SFU nuts are rubbish plain and simple. 4 months contunous use 5 days a week seems to be the average life of one of these.
When I complained to the shop they...
No grease. Found Grease clogs these up, even the lightest of lithium grease. Clogging destroyed the nylon ball return jumpers on the first one I had, on nut 4 now. They are now oiled automatically at...
similar to mine except i went a bit heavier. Worth strapping the two profiles together on the back of the gantry. The round rail z was a temporary solution that is infact doing its job but square...
Thought id post this image for anyone considering using a 20mm sfu ballscrew and nut with an nema 34 8.1nm. This is the second nut the balls have worn their own grooves in. Think these are really...

apparently though i can see no evidence of this but Russia have closed a trade route so now all the pressure is on latvia who cant cope with demand so have raised the prices. £68 inc vat a sheet...
Just got off the phone to james latham after 3 other suppliers quotes were disappointing, anyone else heard that birch ply prices are going up by 20% over the next month.
Was looking for switch wire when this occurred to me, and seems to be cheaper than off the roll here in the uk so thought id share.

Well I've had a crap day with the uc400 and uccnc today. Mashed up two pieces of stock when uccnc failed to stop at the coordinate and dro continued on. Have run the program many times with uc300 and...
I must have been half asleep when I commented on this this morning, I was referring to cooling water not cutting fluid. Lol I agree spraying antifreeze not a good idea.
I use anti freeze at a high concentration, which is kept refrigerated. 2 years and still just smells of antifreeze. Some people complain it stains pipes but mine are still spotless.
I see, in which case I would be considering using acrylic if you're router is not plywood already that is. Ply looses is rigidity in small brackets. Especially in a shed where the humidity might be...
I've been searching for some figures on this effect however It's not returned any results. I'm pretty sure it is the case. One way to tell is switch them all on without spoil board and see if your...
Look forward to it. I am limited to single phase here and a rubbish amount of amps so this type solution is looking to be my only option. Am i right in thinking the current draw of these vacuum...
