Thanks, Think I have it
I had a Boxford 160TCL and now the larger 240 so working in the same co-ordinate system space as you. So know the mental gymnastics, of having a "rear" tool-post, reversing...
Hi,
I loaded this a few day ago, after going grey looking at other options. This is great and have started to remove metal with my Boxford 240, that has sat idle for 3 years. Even the reversed arcs...

Hi,
I know this is an old thread..........
I have the machine that Mike had. It has a pneumatic chuck and I need spare soft jaws and to know how to remove it. I had a 160 which was super little...
I would suggest that you start the design process the right way. Work out the loads and then select the correct thread, in size, depth of engagement, number of engaged threads and material properties...
How are you controlling the turret? I have a TCL 160, which replaced the factory boards. Customised Mach3 to get the turret working, but would like to experiment with EMC2, but till I can fix the...
Dan,

Andy,
I am still thinking, before cutting tracks. Mine is a later 160, just the serial connection, I have software, but no key. From other threads, sounds like there is a boot loader file that has...
Hello,
Have an early large table X3, 2005, Used CNC fusion kit and HobbyCNC Pro kit of board and steppers, about 180-200oz in, running from a large 28v supply. Running X and Y only draw about 3Amps...
I have a diy CNC based on an X3. Used it for a few jobs and realised that would be simpler to set up job, jigs and tooling if I had a simple probe. Looked on the web a wihile back and found a design...
binraker, TCL160 uses same Uproc board as Duet Mk2, 136-00-03. Just the serial link.
Guest the MK1 uses the boards from TCL125?
Reread entire thread, picked up the serial data. Running TurboCNC,...
Serial set up
Picked up a TCL160 from a tech school, cheap, with the software, but no License Key !

Just got a 160 TCL without software or manauls, any one got a manual or can tell me the file formats?
Picked one up cheap, but without software. Have serial cable but what is the pinout? or more critical the format of the (G-Code)file?
I found a couple of these machines, cheap, keys on there way. Interested in Circuit diagrams or interface details
