Have you tried swapping the x motor with the y motor ? Sounds like it could be either motor or encoder fault!

Hi, does it stop the function of the axis ? As we have that on one of our machines but its in the Z axis but it still functions fine.

Hi, I think this may be a Bridgeport boss 5 or older, we have a boss 8 and is a lot more advanced than the one shown in the pictures.

Had an error message come up on the screen and it wouldn't clear so I turned the machine off then back on now its asking to insert the paramters, which I haven't got!
