As you say you can´t make it worse.
The bearings should not be damaged IF they haven´t rusted to the spindlecartridge, in that case they are shot anyway, they should be a slidefit not pressfit, if...

Ok, made a boo boo, got the polarity of the touchscreen mixed up.

Anyone have a suspicion of what burned? is it worth the hassle of trying to get it repaired?

OK, No the only computer is the one controlling Mach, the pendant only houses the touchscreen, MPG, emergencystop, and the killswitch, connected to the LPT.

Found why my MPG wouldn´t work.:banana:

I used the USB for the touchscreen to feed the MPG with 5v.
And the USB ground is NOT the same as LPT ground.

Just connected the two grounds together...

Checked it, but nothing, might have a faulty encoder.
