You stated that the voltage at the drive is only 47.7 volts at the time of fault. If this is correct, it would appear that the power supply or wiring does not supply enough current for the motor...
Do you have backlash enabled? If you do, try increasing the backlash speed setting in the backlash settings window.

I absolutely love this analogy. Keep up the good work Mariss!

I am using one of these for a homebuilt router. I will tell you my observations and advice.
1) you must use the water cooling. Their is no other way for the spindle to get rid of the heat it...
I wanted to clarify that these pieces simply need to be cut to length. The method by which they are cut is not important.
I would like to maintain + or - .010" on length.
Thank you for the...
Hello, thanks for the replies. I have attached a drawing per request.
As far as the material chosen. I need weight and corrosion/rust resistance. If you can suggest a different material which...
Hello,
We are looking for a quote for quantity 3000 of 304/304L .1875"x.75" flat stock sheared to .875" long pieces. These are to be used as ballast(added weight) in an injection molded assembly....
I should add that the main reason I asked for info is due to not seeing an obvious difference in magnetic force at the face of the chuck with the lower half removed. (split apart by removing the 2...

Hello, I am new to EDM machines and will have a few questions over the next few weeks. I just picked up a Hansvedt Journeyman 201e. I have the original operators manual for it.
My first question,...

Hello Thorpydo,
I have an X3 and can agree that it is most certainly the play in the Z axis dovetails. The problem we are up against is that by tightening the gib, it increases friction to the point...
Do you specifically require polycarbonate? I can quote it for you in clear cast acrylic if that will work.
Thanks

Very nice job on the enclosure Ray. I have seen many people mounting all the components(including the vfd) in the same enclosure. I would think that you would get interference with all the components...
I am also curious about this.
Thanks

From my recollection, these are tapered pins. Try tapping them thru lightly.
I hope this helps.

I have always wanted to make 1/4 1/3 scale ring and pinion gears. I have always been concerned with the ultimate torque capabilities of the currently available gears. I always have my eyes open...
I hope you have already solved your problems with threading. If not, you should check this topic at machsupport forums. Lot's of good info!

Thank you Mariss. I had spoken with Marcus earlier today and he also said it was ok to do so.
Thank you for a great product line!

Will it hurt the g320 to spin the servo motor manually (up to about 300 rpm) with the power to the drive off? How about in fault mode?
Thanks
Frank
Yes, I used the original table. I converted my x3 to cnc and changed to ball screws with double nuts.
Frank
You might be able to use a replacement X axis screw. You should verify they are both the same thread (right or left handed). I believe the X is RIGHT hand thread.

Mariss, I do not envy you one bit. As the producer of a product that has helped many people get started in this hobby, you have commited yourself to helping those same indivduals with the steep...
My suggestion is "G-minor".
Thanks for all your hard work and keeping us in the loop.

You should also search the "Machsupport" and the Mach Yahoo group for more info if needed.

According to a post some time ago by (I believe) Art himself, it does not appear to impact any other settings. The value in the shuttle accel box sets the ramp up/down speed of the backlash...
Mariss, please do not apologize. I look forward to reading your posts because you are so willing to take the time to explain the details.
Thank you for all you are doing for this community!
