The voltage seems to be constant when measured on a multimeter, but I read an old thread on Mach3 website which said that using on oscilloscope, the 10V from the VFD was noisy. "The +10v reference...
Is the output on G540 P7/P8 digital PWM? If yes, do I need a PWM to analog converter to convert the digital voltage to analog before sending it to the VFD?
My initial though that G540 output...
I have the pulley speed set at min 0 rpm and maximum 24,000 rpm to be in line with the spindle rpm.
I'm having trouble getting 10V PWM output from G540, Pin 7 (VFD Ground) and Pin 8 (VFD Output). The maximum voltage G540 is outputting is around 5V.
Below are my settings:
VFD = Huayang 2.2kW ...
Thanks Phomann for your reply. I think I have the VDF configured correctly, FOR = Run and VI (analog input) = 10V.
Are you saying my pump schematic (in blue) is correct? If not, can you upload a simple sketch. It'll be a lot easier for me to understand.
Can you show me how you have it configured in Mach3? I can't seem to get the PWM to control the spindle.
My connections are as follows:
To turn on/off the spindle
DCM(Com) --> G540 P12
FOR -->...
In which scenario would you use FA, FB, FC and DRV, UPF, DCM? To me they both seem to do the same thing.
Attached is a simple schematic for the two setup. If I were to go with FA, FB, FC, what...
I'm trying to connect a 24V relay and 220V pump using the multi-output, FC, on Huanyang 2.2Kw VFD. Attached is the VFD wiring diagram. I have the FA, FB, FC parameter set to 1 - Run. I can hear the...
Hi Racetech,
Did you figure out a solution to this problem?
I'm experiencing the same problem as you are. All of it, including spindle powering back up when the G540 is powered off. With the...
