I also experience the same thing with TNG.
Seems like when you "start from line", the program ignores lookahead and goes into exact stop mode - decelerating and accelerating for each line segment....

Made the move to TNG a couple weeks ago on my smaller machine and so far really impressed! runs smoother and quieter, and the ability to customize the ui buttons/tabs is great.
Now just need to sort...
