Hey Mack what Geko motor drivers are in the 6000? I have a 1000 having some problems losing steps as well.
I reformatted the computer and only installed mach3 with my original config files. I was able to find the disc's and realized I actually have a DynaCNC1000. The random pauses still occur so it looks...
Hey Frank, I am the original owner of the machine. It defiantly looks like a hardware issue. I reformatted the computer and re installed only mach3 with factory config files. At this point I realized...
The random pausing still occurs even with your config file. Is there any way to disable pause in mach3? that way I can determine if its a software or hardware issue?
The fault light isn't coming on when it stalls. I tried to move the gantry by hand and it was fairly smooth. I did notice that belt on the Y-axis occasionally would rub up again'st the side and cause...
Thanks Frank. Ill try tracking the fault light and let you know how it goes.
Should the check boxes be checked for "Port Enabled" for both port#1 and port#2 within the ports and pin settings?
I have mine plugged into a wall outlet and turned on and off manually as well.
Thanks for the config files!
I've adjusted acceleration and velocity and the stalls and pausing issue still happen.
The stalling and pausing can occur anywhere on the table. It doesn't seem to be bias to any particular area.
Yes it is a router. Ill have to confirm that I have copies of the dyna software still. By chance do you have the config files?
Hey Mike do you mind sending me a screen shot of your Mach 3 screen?
The machine started to randomly pause over a year ago. When this issue first started I didn't think much of it as the pauses...
My DynaCNC 6000 keeps stalling when I jog the table. Please see the video below.

Any idea what could be causing this and how to fix it?
I checked all the wires on the machine today. Found some loose connections to the Geckodrive(G201) for the X axis. Phase A, B and C were loose(do you know what these do?). I tightened them back up...
I physically adjusted the z axis. It wasn't perfectly square as Ger21 and bhurts pointed out.
I forgot to add when I let go of the jog control and try again it generally works. Some times it will jam up again. This happens on the x y and z, which is a bit strange
Thanks for the input Gerry, I will check the wires this week.
On another note when I jog my table some times I hear the steppers try to move but the table just jams up. Do you think this could be...
I made some adjustments to my z axis and the issue is now resolved! Thanks to everyone for their assistance.
Hey CDF, I am glad to hear everything worked out for you.
I've started a separate thread with my specific issue as its not the same as OP. I've also updated with a video.

My CNC Router Table (Dyna DLI4848RSR-DA 4'x4') Randomly Pauses. I've taken a video of what I mean below. Has anyone else ever experience this?

I wasn't able...
what speed are you running the spindle? and how fast are you cutting?
cimitoka, what tool are you using? RPM? IPM? Material specs?
Hey Bhurt, What is the best way to check if the spindle is moving straight up and down? I have a dial indicator.
Hey guys. Sorry the image was incorrect. I've attached the proper one for reference. Gerry you are correct it looks like each cut is slightly further to one side its just not consistent pass after...
Thanks for the quick reply. I will check if the spindle is square to the table later tonight.
I have one of the pieces with me and when I check the edges with a square, each pass is square and...
Hi Everyone,
I am cutting 8" circles out of 1" acrylic on my CNC router. I am using a porter cable router with precision collet and an onsrud 1/4" 0 flute bit. The router is running at 10000 RPM...
Hey Jerry, I've tried double sided carpet tape and it works well. I mainly use the tape for smaller more detailed cuts. The reason I am trying to utilize tabs is to reduce the additional expense of...
I've been cutting 3/16" acrylic letters ranging from 4" to 12" tall and using tabs to keep the pieces from coming loose.
I noticed however some times the tabs break, damaging the letters and/or...
I just have the pause button on my Mach3 screen seen here http://www.levimanselle.com/attachments/Image/dynacnc002.jpg How would I go about fixing the issue with "noise"?
Hey ger21 It seems to happen with no rhyme or reason even with G code files as small as 1000 lines. This is the exact issue LeviManselle.com - MACH3.
I am having a similar issue did you find a resolution?
